"Ah." Is all I can say. Now I feel stupid. I didn't notice it at first, and I should have at the first look of them. No wonder they look like surfers. Their fur must be very dark. "If you know so much, you should know that I cannot answer your question. It's against our laws for me to reveal this much information with an unauthorized individual as it is."

Lord Sano must be the pack leader. That's why Miyuri obeys him unconditionally. He sighs. "Miss. You are not being cooperative. I need your help here. My family needs the help of your family. Please. Just tell me how to get in touch with any one of your elders. Any of them."

hmm.... he sounds sincere. He means exactly what he says. He needs my help. But he's asking for something I can't help with. I open my mouth to tell him so, and I glance at Miyuri. She's openly hostile towards me. She hates me. She must think I'm in league with the bloodsucker race. Stupid wolf. Elves are neutral. I had no choice in the matter with that stupid vampire. I never would have done that if I had another option.

Lord Sano glances the same way I do. "Miyuri! Stop it! You are not helping in any way. Go, now." She looks at him, panic obvious on her face, like a kid being abandoned by her parent. For a Werewolf, I suspect it would be.

"No. It's ok." I manage to say. Hmmm... how to put this gently... "I'm sorry. I cannot tell you how to reach the Elders. It is private information."

Silence. Lord Sano's face remains blank. "What if I told you why I need to speak with them? The reason why it's so crutial?" Sano reaches up and scratches at his short hair with one hand. He has a nervous atmosphere around him, like he's telling me too much.

"Perhaps. If it's truely that important, you might as well tell me now. If it's that life-changing, all my kind will know. We're privy to much of our council's debates."

He remains silent for a long moment, obviously arguing with himself over this turn in his plans. "Alright. You were the elf that gave your blood to one of the leeches a week or so ago. That leech has obtained enough power to completely destroy all of the wolf clans; because of you."
