Yeah, so...

Ze French student has been here since Saturday and seems to be adjusting well. She gets along with my brother better than my sister and I ever have. I marvel at her patience. We went out to Art Fair on the Square Saturday afternoon. It was hot. People wouldn't move. I was happy to get home and sleep (and I wasn't even the one with jetlag).

The next morning, Rain and I finally made good on our vow to watch all three extended editions of the Lord of the Rings movies. And so, we sat in her basement from 9:45 am-ish to almost 10:30 pm, emerging only for meals and breif postings in TWC. We also made a nifty little drawing of some random person as seen here. Yeah. Rain suggested that we make 'I Survived' T-shirts xd .

Today, I had a viola lesson (hadn't practiced in 3 weeks xp ) and a behind the wheel. My instructor was pretty laid back and very funny, it was by far the least stressful lesson yet. I might just get the hang of this 4laugh !

Oh, and tonight, our power went out for inexplicable reasons form about 7-10:00 pm. We were using candles for everything and I was severly pissed, thinking I would have to go to bed at nine. I was wrong. I was very pleased to be wrong. Yay for the internet *huggles it*.
