Okay, so I had a really funny moment the other day.
Me and friend Shannon were directing parents at the freshmen parent orientation and weere telling people about our school's JROTC program (even though we are freshmen, we got to do this... biggrin ) Anyway, if you've ever heard of the Broadway musical Avenue Q, you'll know this song. Okay, so we standing in the hallway in our JROTC uniforms, holding our rifles. We started singing "My Girlfriend, who Lives in Canada". Then, one of our superior officers comes down (he's a junior) and talked to us for a bit. When he left, we just stood quietly for a few minutes. Then , at the exact same moment, we started singing the same line of the same song at the same time. We stopped and looked at each other...then burst out laughing. I don't know how we did that, it just happened. It was hilarious. Then, about 10 minutes later, the bell rang for parents to move to their next presentaion. Shannon and I had moved to a different location, right outside our cafeteria. So then this one lady walkes by. You know how some people are kinda full of themseles and walk very dramatically, swinging one arm back and forth like a model and shaking their hips when the walk? Well thats what this lady was doing. So, I waited until she had walked past us a good distance, then I turned to Shannon, held up a finger like I was teling her to wait a moment, then did an about-face and started walking after her, mimicking her walk. I think I may have over-dramaitized it, but when I turned around, Shannon was red in the face from laughing silently, because other people were walking by. I turned and walked back to her, laughing hard. Anyway, the night turned out to be alot of fun and we actually got 2 for-sure new JROTC students and a few "maybe's". Well, that's what happened to me Thursday night. XD
