At work, we generally close at 8 on sundays. It's usually dead from about 6 'til 8. That's because the mall closes at 6, and most of our guests are mall shoppers. Well, tonight, everyone and their grandma (and there were a lot of those!) decided tonight would be a great night to come to the Royal Fork Buffet....all evening....until 7:30. eek

No one was expecting it and consequently closing procedures were delayed, so we didn't get 30 min. after closing like usual. Add to that the fact that we just sent a bunch of coupons out to the general populace, "$3 off 2 buffets." We got 46 of those tonight, almost thirty of them between 6 and 8. sweatdrop How's that for wild? Uff-dah.


After work, I was digging through my inbox when I found a "work from home for lots of $$!!" spam-mail, and thought I'd check it out, basically because I never had done one of those before. It looked like a good deal, and I couldn't find any kind of catch. I kept looking all over that huge page, and usually there's something, an asterisk maybe. Nothing.

Finally found it at the bottom of the main page. A tiny link that said "Disclaimers." burning_eyes It scared me!! For all you Star Trek: DS9 fans out there, they must have taken lessons from Ferengi, because they sure know their Rules of Acuisition: "Once you have their money, never give it back! xd rofl
