this one didn't involve armies though. This one involved people who have a dragon sleeping inside of them. their dragon self is a normal part of everyday life. my main characters are usually always females or teams. This one was female. What was unusual was that she wasn't a healer per say. She has vast potential but she is young yet and very outspoken. she has a warriors bravery but no formal training to speak of. She gathers friends as she travels and some travel with her to the next town or so. She's a pretty skilled strategist, usually being able to tell what needs to be adjusted to win a situation at a glance. She and a bunch of mates are traveling through something that looks like a shopping mall when the finally meet up with some people with the same personalities as my grandma and aunties...
Dragon chick wants to help with he cooking but aunty is being weird and possessive and they're out of suger so D C and friends tootle off to get some.
