Greetings to all....and to all....a good write! It is late at night and the desire is rumbling in my tummy. The desire to write. I have thought of a title for this for a while now....and have a catchy one that I think suits. I call this piece....."Conspire to Inspire"
With a lifeless corpse comes a soulless shell
bent and deformed by the flames of hell
yet....they mean well.
Purify a sin by turning it to ash
like burning your cold, hard cash
yet. With that flame comes the cold that follows
to sweep through those depthless hollows
winds that cut and earth that breaks
breaks....like crumbs on the last piece of cake
to ease the pain you down the hard liquor.....
but it won't make the pain go away any quicker
go ahead and smoke that cheap cigar.
but I would bet that won't take you far
all you are doing is making bad habits
which usually happens when you chase white rabbits
why not find you a more suitable hobby
than walking around...like a mindless zombie
only instead of a brain....you look for a heart
and that urge will slowly tear you apart.
Hate to say it....but that good book was right
you brought this on yourself this night
think of the good things that need be said
do not think you are better off dead
with a kiss....comes a little bit of healing
and there is always in the market for that dealing
would you betray your body for that coin of silver
where were you when they took and killed her
You take in truth like it was conspiracy
you look at affection....like it was heresy
I just hope God has mercy on your soul
cause you can't buy that back with gold
this is the plot that "I" conspired
to let the black go...and be inspired
