They seemed to be driving on and on forever. "Gavin, how far away do you actually live?" Chartreuse said. He couldn't tell that her face was still glowing red. It was sort of dark on these roads towards the falls. "Well its a bit out of the way..." He said, and laughed sarcastically. "Just a bit further, I promise.' Chartreuse nodded, and shyly leaned up against Gavin's arm. Gavin looked down at her briefly and smiled. He put his free arm around her shoulders. She was actually kind of cute. "Why does she have to find out now...!?" Gavin thought to himself, as he drove, "Sure, she's the saving grace of her people...but she's not really even one-hundred percent...whatever. I've got to do my job."
Finally, they arrived at their destination. Gavin's House had a beautiful exterior, and, thankfully a brilliant light shining on the porch. "Chartreuse, here there's a fungus that glows in the moonlight. That's why I wanted you to see it!" Said Gavin, as he held out a hand for Chartreuse to get out of the car. He noted her dress, and said "No, its not that far of a walk." Chartreuse smiled, and stepped out the car. She had a feeling in her heart that something was about to happen. "Thank you, Gavin. I really appreciate it." She said, and smiled. Although they spilled their souls to each other over one date, they only just met. But somehow, it felt like they had been friends forever. And that had nothing to do with Chartreuse's obsession with him during High school. ------ They had been walking for about ten minutes when the glowing Mushrooms were visible. There was a small pond out ahead of them, and everything seemed to sparkle with peace and serenity. "Oh my....this is BEAUtiful!" Said Chartreuse, stressing the first syllable of the word. "I knew you'd love it, too. Look over there!" Gavin said, and pointed out to the left. There were the falls,in the distance and it seemed like there were more sparkles concentrated over there. "Chartreuse, there was a reason I bought you here today." Said Gavin. His face looked worried in the glow. "You see, I have a job to do. I don't mean to frighten you, but... Now you have to enter our world. After all these years, you now have to come home." He took out a gold coin. "You're crazy Gavin. You're Insane. This is my world. My Home is about an hour past the college on the other side." She laughed merrily to herself, believing he was joking around. Gavin was not listening. He was chanting a spell into his gold coin. The glow from the forest around them seemed to condense, making Chartreuse very dizzy. "Gavin! GAVIN! What's...." But she fainted, as the world around her got larger, and larger. There was a stabbing pain on her shoulders, and then, Darkness.
