Reasons for:

-They look cute together
-Matt is very loyal to Mello
-Chocolate and video games is always a good combination
-Mello could get Matt to stop smoking
-They are both M
-They're second and third at Wammy's house
-Mello could never be with Near, due to Near being first at Wammy's house
-I just said so
-Because Matt has about 50 million fans per scene
-Matt died for Mello
-Mello is sincerly sorry when Matt dies
-Mello is actually upset when Matt dies
-When Matt dies it's the only time when Mello gets upset
-Matt always does what Mello says
-Matt can handle Mello when he's being over-emotional
-Matt can watch about 50 screens at once
-Matt would buy Mello lots of chocolate
-M&Ms are a type of chocolate, how much more proof do you need?
-Because Mello went back to Matt, didn't he?

Reasons against:

-Mello could be paired up with Near
-Near and Mello are rivals
-They could just be good friends
-Near would be lonely
