sitting there waching the still water. trying to erase the taunting memorys. it happened so fast, I . . . I still could have prevented it. I wasnt careful enough. as I look at the seemingly peaceful water, the painful past begins to engulf my mind.
I was sitting on the bank of the lake, reading a favorite book. when my mother made me wach my little sister. Grrrr why do I always have to wach over her! shes SO anoying! I naver gat a moment of peace when shes here.
"come on sissy! mom said you have to look after me, and I want to go swimming!"
"Go by your self! Im trying to read." she wined about how she cant swim well. I just yelled at her telling her to stay in the shallow end. I toldher Id wach her just so she would get in the water and leave mr alone. later on It began to get dark. no way? its night already? wait it cant be! its only 2 pm! I wonder . . . I was interupted when cold water began to surround me. the river began to rise. I could hear roaring winds getting stronger. I could baraly stand. it was even darker than night. I called out for her, but the wind and waves were to loud to hear anything. I plunged into the fierce waters swimming as fast as possible. my legs began to numb and barly giving enough strength to go far at all. but the thought of my sister alone in this storm, was to great I had to try and go faster and farther. it began to rain then hail. I was so numb my body reused to move and the waves were no help at all. I screamed her name praying for an answer. alas I heard none. THe waves were overpawering me, I couldnt go on any farther . I coulnt breath as the water choked me. I was smashed agenst rocks. the storm showing mo mercy as if I was a filthy rag. I tried to climb up the sharp rocks, but I had not wet gone even an inch before I was struck again. the waves were whips stricking and pearcking me if I climbed the rocks. all the water surrounding me became red and thick. I was out cold. it couldnt have been more than a few hours later when I awoke pinned between two boulders un ables to move. the though of my sister yet again gave me just enough strength to squeez out of there and with the waters a little calmer now, swimm to shore with a red trail that showed ware I swam. my sister, my beloved sister who I hade been so crule too was never found. its been a week know, and it been confermed there is no way she would have survived. oh how much I miss her! I . . . I know I could have been nicer to her. I love her so so much, and no I can never say Im sorry! no shes gone . . . . forever.
