Roses and love are just the same
Theres no way to tell if its going to grow or stay same
But love hurts believe it or not
I remember i was in that spot
Trippin off some female
Scared of askin her out because theres a no in my mind
While my boys tellin me hurry up before you run out of time
They were right she got a man but i wanted her to be mine
Oh well i said over time
But my love for her grew because my mind wont let me forget
That smile those eyes and that intelligent mind
I might never see her again
At least thats what I thought until my stupid friend
Brought her to me making want to run so fast to see how she was doing
She was in bad shape because her boy friend saw her with my friend talking
He got mad and beat her
That pissed me off I was ready to take his life so I ran to his house to fight
The fight got intense so he grabbed a knife
Then I froze he charged next thing i saw was blood
But not from me but from the one I loved
That last look on her face I still remember to this day
So I got one thing to say
Treat your girl nice because one moment can take your breath away.....
