Once I got to the office, i emediatley saw Mr.Tracy...the one who has been helping me hide on the count that i was One of them. But it wasn't just Mr.Tracy and I. There was an office Attendent. She kinda freaked me out with her baggy eyes and mole incrested face. To say the least.....she looked like my old school's lunch...and trust me, it tasted as bad as it looked......like s**t. But anyway, i sat down in the chair next to Mr.Tracy and waited. I wondered why Mr. Tracy was here...then i got worried. Did they find something out? Was the Population Police going to take me away and kill me like they did to the others of "My kind". Then the old attendant spoke...her voice cracking...
"There are some papers here not signed by her Parent....Identification and all that...."
"Identification?!" i thought....this is not turning out good....
Mr. Tracy got up and looked at the papers. I sat back nervous and about to piss myself as he took his good 'ol time.
"Not a problem," Mr. Tracy started "I'll sign them."
He can't do that...can he?
"Alright then heres your pen sir." Hag lady said
Mr. Tracy signed the papers without even reading them. I started to think...
My father would have read each and every line carefully before signing anything, what does Mr. Tracy think he's doing...not even bothering to think let alone read the papers he's signing....great this might all backfire just because he wont read words on a document....i mean come on! it's reading a 3rd grader could do it, how hard can it be!
Mr. Tracy handed the papers back to hag lady. She read them over and put them in a folder in the old fashion fileing cabnet. then she told us that we were free to go. Mr. Tracy and I both walked out and as soon as i was about to head off to my dorm room Mr. Tracy slipped a small folded piece of paper into my skirt pocket. (( There are uniforms)) I looked over at him and he spoke...
"Read this when your alone. It will tell you all you need to know about this school and what to do if in any trouble."
i nodded and headed back to my dorm....
