 Do you have the guts...?
I ran far away from that cop, as fast as my legs would take me. The crunch under my feet was oh so familiar. At this time the sun had said its good byes and everything looked the same. Each tree, each bush, all the same. They yelled for me again, and I stopped. Face to face with a tall man, dark brown hair like mine, and black eyes. That's how it seemed anyway. I apeared to be stuck, but I wasn't giving up just yet.
"Alright missy, lets go. No more games."
"Sure thing, lead me the way officer."
He turned to show me the way to his car. I turned to run, he grabbed the back of my shirt.
"Ah ah ah. Not so fast there."
I moved out of his grasp and backed up a few feet. The man reached for his tazer. I looked at him confused and scared. I had never been tazed before. And I didn't ever want to. He attempted and i moved. I don't know how but the tazer slipped from his hand. I saw this as an chance... I tried to sweep kick him. I crouched and swung my foot hard. Unsuccsesful my leg ran into his with a WAM! He laughed at my attempt and I got up. I needed to get him off his feet somehow. I threw a punch, his big hand grabbed it and flipped me to the ground. I stood up in silence.
"You can be charged for assulting a police officer you know."
I grinned at the man and threw another punch, this time at his gut. It landed and he crouched.

I hesitated, but managed to kick him hard in the nose. Blood now stained the forest floor. I wasn't done there though. I picked up his tazer and got him 3 times in the back. I don't think he was getting up soon. Then I had an idea. i could take him firearm. I walked over and kneeled down to his level. Out of his belt I took the gun, and slid it into my pocket. It was exsiteing, I have never held a gun before. Well, not unless you count a super soker. After that, I took off. The cop was talking into his radio...
"Suspect is running and has my gun. Code 2595, long straight brown/black hair. Cut up black jeans, and--"
I was too far away to hear the rest of what he was saying. And at this point, I really didn't care. I was out of the woods in a matter of minutes. I was now flying down the main hill, trying to get to the corner. Then it happened. The gun in my pocket went off. The bullet skinned my right leg and foot. I rolled down the rest of the hill, the gun still in my pocket. At the end of my 'ride' I got up and brushed myself off. My jeans were wet with blood now and my had a limp. I needed to go to someones house. I couldn't be on my own now. Not in the condition I was in. I started to go over the negatives of each of my friends houses...
Cassie - Too close to home
Kelli - Mom would exspect, Also too close
Milly - Her mom would make me call home
John - No. Just no.
Vince - Too ocward.
Riza - Parents would suspect
Jamie - It's a school night....
The posibilities kept replaying in my head, So i just went with Jaimes house. I took out my criKet phone from my back pocket. The black and red shined agenst the street light. I dialed her number.
Ring....Ring Ring.....Ri-
"Hello?"
"Jamie....It's Lynn."
"HI!"
"There will be a knock at your door and about 20 minutes, make sure YOU and only YOU answer the door. Ok?"
"Why?"
"I'll tell you later, just do it ok?"
"Sure but--"
"Love you by!"
I slammed my phone shut and started to walk. Jolts of pain kept shooting up my leg, and that made more blood seep out into my jeans. Each step hurt, each mile stung. My energy was low and my eyes grew tired. I pulled out my phone, 10:26pm. I sighed and started to jog. Well, it looked more like a hobble. Boys in their cars rolled down their windows and laughed, I flipped them off. They had no right to do that. But then I though to myself...

My hobble slowed into a speed walk, I just didn't have it in me anymore. I walked down the block and saw my destination....
