Talk....
Jamie and I went to sleep and woke up late the next morning. So we had to rush to school. Her mom gave jamie her lunch and I started down the street, I was a pretty fast runner. Jamie called to me from her doorway.
"LYNN MY MOM WILL DRIVE US!"
I would have said no, but my leg still hurt. So i calmly walked back and sat in the back seat of her moms red car. Kim (her mom) asked me if my mom knew if she was takeing me to school, I told her yea. I wasn't a big fan of lieing but it just had to be done. When our conversation ended we were at school. I jumped out with the same clothes that I had before, blood stains and all. For some reason though, Kim didn't notice. Or really didn't care for that matter. I said my good-byes and headed out of the car. Sadly Jamie and I didn't go to the same school, but everything was fine. I got up and started through the dubble doors into my 'party zone'. I missed homeroom, so I went to room 196. My second period class? Nope, Kelli's.... The teacher Mr. Mich is good friends with me so I get to sneek in every now and then. I walked in with my skull bag and sat into the back, waving to Mr. Mich. He smiled and the whole class looked back at me with a strange look. I smiled and leaned back in my chair. Nothing was bothing me exsept for my leg. Kelli looked back and me and waved, i did the same. Mr. Mich went over his lession and I just well, fell asleep. The bell woke me up, i jumped and grabed my bag. Walking out the door Kelli took my arm.
"Hey!"
"What's up."
"You tell me!"
She pointed to my blood stained pants. I told her that I would exsplain at lunch. She nodded and we walked down the hallway. Then Chelsy ran up to us. Now Chelsy was the steriotypical prep. Bleach blonde hair, in pigtails. Pink everywhere you could see and not to mention her squeaky voice. I rolled my eyes.
"I heard you were shot fighting a cop in the park. Is that true?"
"Well--"
Kelli cut me off covering my mouth, she did that a lot.
"Her personal life is not any of your information. So just leave."
Chelsy stormed off and her little pink purse followed. I sighed and looked over to kelli, still walking.
"So you shot yourself? In the park? FIGHTING A COP!"
"Yea, pretty much."
"Why?"
"The gun was in my pocket. Oh, did my mom call you?"
"Yea she wanted to know if i knew where you were."
"What did you say?"
Kelli smiled at me.
"No, sorry Gina I didn't see Nikki and if I do...."
We smiled wide and looked at each other. Our voices together in a laughing state...
"I'LL LET YOU KNOW!"
We both bursted out laughing. It was funny because my mom ALWAYS calls kelli. And asks the same question all the time. Our fun was interupted by the late bell. My eyes widened and started sprinting down the hall. Kelli turned left into the west wing and we yelled our goodbyes. Up a flight of steps and down the other hall way. I practically slid into Math. Mrs. Fawson looked down at me.
"You are needed in the office, now."
I got up and looked over at Milly. Another frined in my class, I shot her the "What happened" look. She sadly shook her head and mouthed 'sorry'. To me, I told Mrs. Fawson thanks and turned around. So much for Math class. I laughed to myself, I hated math! And this was a ticket to skipping out. I walked down the hallway again and looked around. People were pointing at my leg and wispering to eachother. It didn't bother me at first, but the anger built up. I walked over to a girl and her boyfriend.
"If you have something to say, say it now. To my face."
The girl asked me if it was true that i shot myself fighting a cop. I slapped her clean across the face. Her boyfriend to shocked to do anything. I turned away from them both and headed to the office. Down the steps wasn't as hard as going up them. My shoes made an echo that i liked. The 'tak' noise. Now I was only a few feet from the office. But then, standing at the desk speaking to one of the assistants, was my mom. My legs shook and I got goose bumps. I started sprinting for the door and my mom saw me. Sure enough, she came after me. I ran out of the school letting the door slam behind me.
'Not again...'
