Two days ago I wiped out on my bike. Majorly. Ok, so I'm ok, and my bicycle is ok, although I did get three scratches that look like claws (made by the chain link fence) and band-aids on four toes, and the headlight on my bike suffered some cosmetic damage, but is all-in-all ok. Everything's ok....ok.
Yesterday I discovered why I've been feeling half-dead with cold-like symptoms for the past week: almost 24 years old, and I just had my first allergic reaction. Allergic to what? Wish I could tell you, because that would mean that I know. The doctor recommended Zyrtec-D, and then didn't tell me you needed an ID to get it (restricted med) so I had to go BACK to the pharmacy again after going home before I could finally take the allergy medication. Let me tell you: Sooooooo worth it. I actually felt like doing things! I didn't want to just lay in bed all day and sleep for ten hours! It was great! And now I'm allergic to who knows what.....whoopee.
