Shadow Journal of Secrets
Just random stuff I put in here, just for the hell of it. Nothing too important.
Disciple Help Guide
Introduction: This is a guide for PvPing tactics, Leveling/Equipment tips and builds. My name is StriderHien and i've decided to make a guide for all you fellow Disciples/Templars, and if any of you guys would like to have things changed about this guide please let me know, and I will have the guide updated.

What is a Disciple/Templar?: They're a mix of a Fighter + Healer, they have self-buffs and a Heal Over Time, and they have a damage reducing skill which makes them hard to take down when leveling against mobs. Only draw back is the lack of HP, which I will get into later on under "Builds/Stats in this guide. They are melee, not ranged nor magic-ranged, though they do have a ranged stun skill ( Burning Hands ).

[Skills]
Lvl45 :
ForceBlast: This is our primary attack skill, it reduces the attack rate of your opponent, and has a chance of stunning for 3-4 seconds.
Assist Heal:Assist Heal heals 40hp every tick, it last 17 seconds at lvl 1. This is your skill that will keep you alive during tanking and pvping, use it with all your might.
Brace Up: Your attack buff skill
Protection: Your defence buff skill

Lvl51:
Time Shield: Time Shield is a skill that is used to reduce attack rate and skill rate and is also used to stun. It is also used for making mobs run away. ( Cast on a mob, poke once)

Lvl56:
Eurosia: This is your AoE MP supportive buff skill, at Lvl 1 it raises 90 MP for you and anyone near you.

Lvl61:
Burning Hands: Burning Hands stuns for 17 seconds at Level 1, and the stun time is almost as long as the cooldown.

Lvl66:
Chain Block: Chain Block is the first AoE you get at Lvl 66. Enemies that are hit by this AoE has their damage reduced by half.

Lvl71:
Saint Rising: Saint Rising gives you 600 defence and heals you over time for a long period of 9 seconds(lawl), may be short, but it sure does help you when you are getting mobbed. I'll get into this skill more later on.

Lvl81:
Dead Lock: Dead Lock is your second AoE attack. It uses alot of MP but hell, it sure does alot of damage. Has no special status effects, just damage.

Lvl86:
Evil Dead: Evil Dead is your upgraded Force Blast. Consumes a tiny bit more MP, but it does alot more damage. It stuns for 1 second, and has a 1 second cooldown

Lvl96:
Great Sphere: Great Sphere, your second AoE supportive skill. It heals 30HP per tick for 11 seconds for you AND anyone around you. This stacked with Assist Heal = <3 thats 70HP per tick!

I will stop here, because I havnt gotten that far yet into the other skills and actually use them, and description on the skill books are a bit vague, but I will update the skills in time.

Builds: I've noticed, there has been numerous threads about builds with people asking what stats they should put etc etc. I will clear everything up by explaining what build is best to go for, and the things im about to explain is in my opinion.

Once you have changed to disciple, please go full power, it is 100% recommended.

MondaBuild
You can keep on raising pow till you get Time Shield at lvl 51.(Tip from TrashKnight aka Monda)

POW/MEN:
Due to the "MEN issue" I have not seen any use in this stat for Disciples/Templar or for any other class except Scout/Archer. But it can be used for more Hit for pvping Rouges and Crit and Skill Crit. For this build, i'd give it a 3/10.

POW/STAM: This is the build I went. Strong and hard to take down. After I went full power at lvl 45, I started to invest into stam till I got 425+ HP, then went full power again. I highly recomend this build.10/10 for this build

***As for the other stats, I find useless and not helpful to Disciple/Templars***.

PVP:Here I will explain what to do in PvPing other classes. This is what I do most of the time aside from grinding. We have self buffs, a primary attack that stuns, a heal over time, and a hacked out stun skill and we have a skill that gives us 600def and heals over time! SaintRising Ftw. All these things help us stay alive in PvP.

AoE skills NOW work in pvp

Burning Hands Control: This is the most annoying tactic we can do in PvP. Doing this tactic saves our pots. We can do this tactic well on Squires/Knights, Apprentice/Mage, Acolyte/Cleric, Scout/Archer and Disciple/Templar.

The Tactic: You BH your opponent, wait till the cooldown of BH is a little past half done, cast Time Shield on your opponent to reduce his attack rate and skill rate and start ForceBlasting/EvilDead'ing his face off. Rinse and Repeat. If your are Lvl71+, you can wait for BH's cooldown till half way, cast SaintRising, use Time Shield then hit. Having Saint Rising casted, it negates all stun effects and Damage Over time effects for 9 seconds. If they run due to Saint Rising, then LAWL, he/she is giving you time to heal.

Us VS Neophytes/Rogues is the biggest problem, due to their UBER dodge, and due to their numerous damage over time skills, we can barely BHC them and our Assist Heal stops healing because of their damage over time skills. Disciple/Templar vs Neophyte/Rouge is like trying winning the lottery. Use your pots wisely, once in awhile try to BHC+SR them. From my experience fighting Haruko in OB, it comes to a really close battle.

Us VS Squire/Knight/App/Mage/Aco/Cleric/Scout/Archer: BHC or BHC+SR

Us VS Disciple/Templar: BHC or BHC+SR, but remember they'll be doin the same tactic on you, it will be a really really....REALLY long battle. razz
