chapter 3 elegance,
As 16 came back from the bathroom Ame quickly said, "someone tis of no name sent thou for a message."
"really? who?" 16 asked. he heard his father downstairs and quickly closed the door to his room.
"tis no name"
"what was the message?" 16 quikly asked.
Ame coughed and resited what the boy had completly said, " i'm ready meet me in the place that shows no bounds at midnight"
"what does this mean?" Ame asked.
"he was the one helena was talking about. He wants me to meet him at the place that shines the perfect moonlight."
"why?"
"you don't need to know."
The Fire Ring was in front of 16's house, she was smiling again.
"ame, what time is it?"
"tis 11:00 P.M"
"it's time for bed, we should get to sleep." 16 pulled out the spare bed and layed in it and slowly closed his eyes, he was clearly not a sleep. Ame knew this but kept quiet. She turned off the lights and went into bed, she closed her eyes as well.
12:00 A.M, 16's eyes shot away. he remebered the message and saw if Ame was asleep. She was curled up in blankets mummuring to herself. He carefully put his shoes on and climbed down the vines outside his house. Ame was also awake. She slowly followed his ever moves and followed his to an abandoned part of town.
He stood in the middle of the street with two buildings on each side. one building was shorter than the one parallel to it which shone the moonlight perfectly over 16.
"alright! i'm here! Frances where are you?" 16 shouted.
"right here." Frances popped up from an empty building. Ame hid behind the corner of a build behind 16.
Helena showed up from behind her and said, "is the fight gonna start?"
This startled Ame as she let out a short cry. "ah, miss helena. Tis yes, i do fear 16 may be in trouble. Why tis Sir Baker as of this place?"
"Baker."
"16."
"will this ever end?"
"no!! only when your dead 16!! then i will be winner!! Go!!" Frances lunged and 16 which he easily dodged. The moonlight shone over 16's blue eye, it glowed brighter than ever.
"16 tis is a well fighter is thou not?"
"this is why Baker wanted to duel in the moonlight."
Ame looked puzzled. 16 grabbed Frances arm and pushed it the opposite way. Frances cringed in pain as 16 attacked. Even though they were reckless 16 was moving ever so elegently.
"for some reason 16 is best at fighting in the moonlight." Helena informed Ame.
"why?"
"i don't know."
Frances moved out of the way but 16 grabbed Frances hurting arm and pulled t so he could use his thigh to hit Frances in the stomach. France screamed in pain as 16 asked, "do you give up or should i do more?"
"n-never!!" France blurted out with blood coming out of his mouth.
16 grabbed the hurt arm again and thought to himself cruely, shoul i break this insolent boys arm off? or shoul i watch him cower in fear?
16 shook the thought out of his head and left go of his arm.
"we are done here." 16 still gracefully walked away with style leaving dust where he once stood.
