GUESS WHAT GAIZ. TURNS OUT I STILL KNOW HOW TO PLAY CLARINET : D
As it happened -as it usually happens- some whim kinda bit me, and I tried to see if I could still handle playing. It is a sad, sad thing, dusting off a neglected case. Couldn't manage to blow into a 3 1/2 without getting tired and it sounding weezy, so I tried the Rico 2 I randomly had there, and that worked out much better, though there was some buzzing. Set out wanted to play the melody to How Could I Just Kill a Man, and also found the notes to Maybe Tonight and the clarinet part to Ultimate-Tims. I dunno how good of a movie Brick is, but I got's to see me it and find out whose theme or where in it that song plays, cuz gahd, is that song aptly named. The prefix, anyway. No idea wtf that second part is about.
Life is a funny thing. Maybe I should learn to laugh at it more instead of getting worked up over the incongruities. I will say this, though. It's nice to be able to establish oneself without the use of anyone else's coattails, or aprons.
