Rose: Please leave a message at the Zzzzzz's

Kaku unpiled Rose from under Shal and Wolf, and started talking about her needing rest. She wanted to tell him she was fine- that she'd be all right. But the thought of a power nap was just too appealing. She really could use some recoup time. Wynn made a hurried goodbye after that, and Rose, tucked into her bed in her room, quickly fell asleep.

ANTIE-D, reverting to her usual role as house-mom, it seemed, was trying to get people moving on. Not that they didn't seem ready to go to their own homes, but Kaku had been correct. Rose needed rest. The visitors could stay, but they would have to remain out of Rose's room. She had only let in Wynn because she knew it did Rose some good to see her well again. Everyone else could leave her a video message she could review later, if they chose. But the door was now locked to Rose's room, and that was that.

Se'rox: Moving In

Smiling- since she couldn't stop for once- Se'rox just let Zuchax III pick her up and put her on the bed. He said she could stay indefinately, at which she sighed. Casually, she thought she was being quite the pathetic human- not a Nobody at all- but she didn't care. Very illogical, but she was fairly certain that these feelings (if that was what they were) were, as she had seen in others, something that came and went. Though, she also believed she would always feel like this around Zuchax III.

He asked her about her possessions. She didn't own much- never had, really, She always thought that they would slow her down. All she owned she had in a mud case in an old room, far away....

She turned, and created the portal into the mud room.

"My things, all that I own, are in that case." She said, pointing to where her mud-case should be. "I apologize for the mud. You do seem to have clean floors and all, after all."

The case was only about three feet long, and one foot deep and wide. It was solid mud, with no handle- since it had never needed one. "Those are all my hard-to-replace worldly things. Clothes don't count." she said.

Taran: Getting Back

Taran nodded as Lizbeth chose to stay next to n**. Perhaps she could be of help- if for nothing else but to make sure she didn't become further injured by the spears. That was one of Taran's weak abilities; healing. He could barely heal a papercut.

Hearing Creighton follow him, he continued until he was at the bridge. It seemed that Flan had set the ship in a general direction and gotten it going, but it wasn't going to be enough.

"We're going to take the long way." he said, somewhat under his breath, plotting the course that would take them out of the atmosphere long enough to hit a space-safe faster speed, just to head back down and land again. It would save them time, as long as n** wasn't jostled too much. It was just... more difficult.

As Creighton settled in near him, and asked him about being hired for the job, Taran closed his eyes for a moment. Yes, that would seem to be the run of things. he thought. He was trying to remember how much he had been told was fine to disclose.

"To be honest, I haven't been hired by anybody. I have a vocation, true. But I was asked by someone any dragon could not refuse. This mission, I took out of duty. But I am not getting paid for this." Taran answered, hoping that would be enough for the dragon. Doubting that, he added one bit more. "And of who asked me to do this, I can tell you no more. But you are with friends who mean you no harm, and you can believe that on my honor as a dragon." he said, looking Creighton straight in the eyes for that last. He resisted the urge to tell him to please not tell anyone else that he was a dragon. At least... no, not anyone.

Antie-D is a good momma. ^o^... or at least a good Aunt. XP

A Mud Case?... There's a fine line between obsession and powers.....

Teehee... Taran said Duty. *gigglesnort* But seriously, dude, there are times when you can fake the inability to understand people. That was one of those times.
