the rain was making a low humming sound as Heiri and her pack of wolfs were searching for food. Heiri -a light red wolf with dark brown fur- said to Keni -a brown yellowish wolf with a red scar over both eyes- "you take half of the pack over to the north side and I'll take the rest to the east." and as the pack was dividing Keni heard a gun shot go off and there was this indescribable pain in his left leg "KENI !!!" Keni coulnd tell what was going on, someone with a light purple pelt came over and tried to support him BANG! another shoot went off and the light purple wolf fell to the ground, not moving and blood was poring out of a round wound between the eyes.
Heiri watched as Chimu went down then Keni got shoot again and he went down, all around her, her pack mates were running and fighting the hunters that were killing off the pack, Heiri ran at one and jump then sank her teeth in his neck, there was the stench of blood every were. Heiri killed one, then two, three, she felt on fire then there was pain, nothing but pain, darkness, and fear. No moon,or stars,not even the light of the humans fire, Heiri looked around and saw the one thing that made her blood freeze every one in her pack but her was dead ten bloody wolf bodies. the hunters were gone and Heiri was alone for the first time in her life she was scared to be alone she was scared of the dark and she was mostly scared of humans.
