The sun was shinning through Shade’s bed room window and hitting her in the face, Shade pulled her pillow over her head and tried to go back to sleep but she could hear Mino wrestling with her clothes, Shade figured that when she was out with Natasha she got a new outfit for herself and that she was trying to put it on. It wasn’t long before Shade could hear Natasha offering help to Mino. A few minutes later Natasha burst through Shade’s door “Come on there sleepy head you’ve been in bed so long, if I didn’t know better I’d say you were nocturnal!” Mino came running in behind her panting “I’m sorry Shade I told her that you weren’t a morning person.” Natasha pulled the covers off of Shade and pushed the pillow away from her face “Did you tell her that I am in fact nocturnal?” Shade moaned and laid her arm across her face. Natasha looked back at Mino and shrugged then turned back to Shade and pulled on her cape “Well to late now your awake so get up!” reluctantly Shade got out of bed and saw that Mino was dressed in a red ballerina suit with dark red gloves that go all the up to her elbow, black boots, and her face had bright red lip stick and red eye shadow. Mino was holding a beg that had green clothes in it “Ok Natasha now why don’t you go and I’ll get Shade into her costume.” As Natasha left Shade stared at Mino as she, quit bluntly, said “Alright Shade, strip.” “Not while you’re here!” Shade yelled, grabbing the beg and pushing Mino out the room. Shade looked at the beg and sighed. Putting on a very baggy dress with light green trim and then a pair of green army style boots. She looked at herself in the full body mirror that hung on the wall “well Mino dose know me, getting a baggy dress and big boots.” When Shade came down stairs Natasha had an evil look in her eyes and on the table laid all her green makeup. “I’m not putting makeup on!” Mino grabbed Shade from the back and Natasha laughed, “you’re right, you’re not putting it on, I’m going to put it on for you.” Struggling to keep Shade under control Mino made her sit in a chair that Natasha pushed out. While holding Shade, Mino motioned to Natasha to use an emerald green for the lip stick “I don’t think we should use that one, Shade’s eyes are already this color, maybe we should use a fire red to match her hair.” An older woman that looked like Natasha’s grandma appeared holding a gold color eye shadow “Use this.” she said in a ghastly voice. Natasha grabbed the eye shadow and tried to put in on Shade, who was telling Mino that “It didn’t matter if you put makeup on me or not, when I get outside I’m just going to wipe it off!” “You can’t do that, if you don’t ware makeup you’re considered a crazy person.” said the old crow. Mino wrapped her arms around Shade’s neck and said lovingly “My daughter is already nucking futs!” “Shade’s your daughter? Wow what spell are you using to make you look so young? I thought you two were just best friends traveling.” coughed the old crow “MINO LET ME GO!” Shade yelled. Mino made a fist with on hand and hit the top of Shade’s head. In the end they got Shade to ware light green lipstick and gold eye shadow but it took Mino and Natasha to hold her down and the old crow had to put the makeup on, there was a knock at the door “Oh there are our dates!” Natasha exclaimed, Mino grabbed Shade’s hands and dragged her to the door, all the while she was complaining that she didn’t do blind dates, but when Natasha opened the door three young and very handsome men were standing in the door way. One had on a yellow suit and white boots, the men didn’t have to ware makeup, the second had a red suit and the third had a green suit. “The guy with your color is your date.” Whisper Mino “Wow Shade yours is so good looking!” Natasha whispered. Now that Shade cared to look Natasha was warring just a plain yellow dress with yellow eye shadow and lip stick. The man in red bowed to Mino and she took his arm and they left then the other two bowed and Shade and her date went down the street toward the fire celebration part of the festival “Why are we going this way?” asked Shade
“Because there is going to be a show were people play with fire! Oh by the way I’m Airen.” “Nice to meet you I’m Shade.” Airen held up his arm and Shade rest her hand on it.
