R A Z "Just who do you think I am?!"
» Name: Razulu Asteria Valzeragna Sarches En Rokarezri Obellis.
» Nicknames/Aliases: Princess Razulu Asteria... you know what, just call her Raz.
» Age: Seventeen years old.
» Species: Human.
» Gender: Female, once upon a time.
» Occupation: Fugitive Princess of Obellis.
» Skills: Though her mother could, Raz isn’t very adept to magic, mostly because she was never properly taught. As far as her combat skills go, they're largely nonexistent as well. Her only proficiency lies in archery, and Raz happens to have exceptionally good aim. Coupled with her proud, tenacious and self-assured (and maybe a bit self-absorbed) personality, she certainly doesn’t let the fact that she “can’t” do something stop her. At the very least, she realizes that she needs to believe in herself if she’s ever going to accomplish anything at all.
» Weaponry: She carries a bow and a quiver of arrows, but also keeps a dagger handy, just in case.
» Curse: Inversal; where the accursed forced to take on the appearance of their opposite gender until the sun sets, resulting in the curse being temporarily lifted until sunrise.
» Story: Being the daughter and only heir of King Leroy and his late wife, Queen Twila, Princess Razulu has lived what she sees as a very uneventful, very sheltered, life. Of course, being an only child can be great, but Raz, who was a extremely curious child and tended to get into mischief, yearned for a brother or sister to play with. Her hopes of this were dashed when she was five years old, when her mother died of a rare and deadly disease. While she doesn’t remember much about her, she does remember that she used to sing her to sleep at night -- a song whose words still escape her, but she remembers the tune easily enough. Unbeknownst to her, it’s actually a spell of dreamless slumber versed in song form, created especially for her daughter, as Queen Twila was once a formidable witch.
After her mother’s death, her father never remarried, something she was very grateful for. She didn’t want another mother. In spite of the fact that she was now doted upon by her father, who nearly drowned her in gifts and presents, she grew up as a very lonely little girl. Since her father was the king, it was only natural that he had more important things to worry about besides playing with her. Often, she would act out and play outrageous pranks just to get his attention --anyone’s attention, it came to the point where she didn’t care who or how -- and was an absolute terror to the castle’s staff. Even when she hit her teenage years, she wasn’t exactly tame. She often flirted with the guards and with danger, that it’s a wonder her father lacks grey hairs. Of course, this is because Razulu was assigned nannies and personal attendants, whom she went though as fast as her father could throw them at her.
So, this once a pampered palace brat, who was utterly spoiled by her father and waited on hand and foot since she was only a little girl, has found recent events to be a real dampener on any preconcepted views of the world she may have once had. For once, Razulu hasn’t gotten her way, an extremely frustrating experience for her, making her unusually snarky. On top of that, adding insult to injury, she has been booted from her own castle! Though Raz had always dreamed of living a more exciting life, “because aristocratic life becomes tiresome,” what she found wasn’t exactly the adventure she’d had in mind. On pure luck alone, she managed to flee during the chaos at the Summer Festival after the book of curses was opened, escaping what could have been her end. Since then, she has been diligently searching for a way to get her curse lifted, free her poor father and most importantly, to get her kingdom back.
