Summer has finally deigned to show up and I am so unappreciative. It was 20 plus degrees at 7 am this morning which bodes bad things for the rest of the day. Even with mum's little mobile air conditioner yesterday was unpleasant and today is supposed to be even hotter... joy.
Still, it's our first nearly 40 degree day for the season so I can't complain to much. (Don't know what that is in fahrenheit... I'll stick with degrees c. It makes more sense)
Anyway, even with the A.C. I'm going to be useless in the afternoon so I'm trying to get all the compy stuff done this morning and anything else of even mild importance.

Heat doesn't make me grumpy or irritable, it just give a thumping headache and makes me all vague, forgetful and stupid. I just can't think straight. Even with the A.C. on I still get the head ache, so I need to get stuff done NOW, while I can still think.

yesterday all of us (mum, me, the cat, the dog and the rats) were all in her room hiding from the heat and I watered all the plants this morning and will again this evening, water restrictions or no water restrictions. We need to move the pots around the back so that we can water them surreptitiously but the heat is so draining we just haven't got to it. It takes a lot more self discipline than I have to force myself to go out there and do things.

I'm going to go throw washing up... it should dry inside of an hour the way things are going.

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh. man I hate summer... not that fond of winter either but I really hate summer. At least winter has no flies and no mozzies.
