Night Strole...
I got out of bed and got regular clothes on. I was restless
now...I knew all that sleep wasn't good for me. I looked towards the
clock...it was 11:45 sharp. I opened my door and walked out, after
locking up of course. I walked down the road and out of the village. I
was looking around and picking out details of everything. I could see
the dew on the grass, and the starts so clearly. I was so busy looking
at everything on my night strole i bumped into a boy...just about my
age. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jean shorts. His hair messy and
purple??? I looked at him confused and he looked at me. No
conversation. No smile. Nothing...just blank stares. I moved passed him
and headed toward what i thought was a secret spring. I saw a pond
and a few trees, fresh grass, and no people. I smiled and walked
closer. This was great, my own little spring. I leaned over the pond and
saw about 9 koi. And in color that i havent seen. There scales shined
all colors as they swam. I put my hand in the water and 3 koi turned
into about 18 butterflys and flew out of the water and into the moon.
'What...What is this place?'
I was going to touch the water agian but i hesitated. I
didn't know what would happen. So i just looked, for about 5 minutes.
After that the 3 koi re-appeared in the pond. I got up and stepped
back.
'This isn't real, It can't be...'
I took a small tube out of my ninja tool sack. I used the
tube to take samples....and this was worth it. I placed my hand slowly
into the water and the tube filled quickly. I pulled my hand out and the
all of the koi turned into minos that glowed white. The light was so
bright i had to step back agian. I started to see my reflection so i
moved closer. Then the reflection of myself turned into her....the horrid
monstrosity that slept within me. I jumped back and headed toward the
village agian. I couldn't bare to look at her. Reflection or not! I walked
a few feet and sat in the grass. It was wet from the dew but i didn't
care. I looked up at the the moon and sighed.
'All because I didn't get enought sleep...What did i get myself into now...'
I layed back into the grass and stared blankly upward. My
head started to hurt and i coudn't see straight. I desided to go
home...even though i didn't feel like it. I probably stayed out too long. I
headed back and went to sleep....yet agian.
