I missed my usual turn-in to work this morning because 1) the traffic light was out and I passed it in the pitch black and 2) I didn't even see the store because the exterior and parking lot lights were all out. Even the gas station. o_O

Fortunately they had a generator powering part of the inside. It came back on soon after I got there. But it was still extremely windy all day (as in moving my car as I'm driving windy).

Got to stock frozen food and do TPD's in grocery today, huzzah. I wonder if they'll give us grocery pay.

I finished reading Don't Know Much about Mythology, which was a pretty good overview of many different world mythologies (which was why I read it in the first place). It was a little less...intellectual, I suppose...than I would have liked, and whoever edited it did a poor job (forgotten forgot, anyone?), but it had some very interesting points and information, and it had some things that weren't in my Oxford Dictionary of World Mythology, so hurrah. Next up: Celtic myths.
