Yes, this is yet another poem I wrote for my creative writing class. This one is different, however, as it was made entirely up of random lines from a newspaper. A couple are a bit tweeked to so they can fit better, but other then that, they're all lines from articles (and one from an ad. It's pretty obvious which xD).
The Knowledge of Insight
The sparks may not fly
On the path paved with defense, but
Embracing new life without waiting for proof
Is crucial for success;
Even if what's left is nothing more that old train tracks.
The image is harrowing, hilarious and reminiscent of
A walk through life.
It facilitates a splendid isolation.
Just don't expect to hear any train whistles.
A tiny patch can open up a world of sight,
And give some real relief from unnecessary exertion,
And human contact,
Just five minutes a day.
It's just unconscionable and dire, what they expect from
Their standpoint,
Opening a rift over choice.
But just remember one thing:
They're innocent until proven guilty.
