Aww. Now it's no fun. D:
First off, I dunno if this is the same for anyone else, but when I read a good book, I get really excited and I have to talk to someone about it. Kinda like if you see a good movie, you feel like talking about it with someone else, right? Well, that only works if I know someone else who's read the book, and likes it as much as I do.

So I have a new favorite book (series), called "The Blade Itself" (By Joe Abercrombie), but...Nobody else I know has read it. And I don't think anyone else I know would WANT to read it. gonk

See, it takes a pretty long time to read...There's alot of pages, and the pages are pretty thin...And it's a fantasy book, so it takes place in the past and it has some magic and stuff. Alot of people don't like fantasy books. (Dunno WHY, though...) And there's lots of violence and blood and gore. Personally, I like books with lots of violence. But not everyone does. And not to mention, there's alot of cursing and sexual references.... I mean, ALOT of cursing and MANY sexual references... I didn't know it was legal to have this many curse words in a book, honestly.

But with all that being said, it really is a really good book. The plot's really easy to follow, and the characters are awesome. Plus it's really funny, in a sarcastic sort of way.

But...I dunno. Out of all my friends that I can think of, one of them won't read it because they have too many books to read already. One or two of them wouldn't want to read it because it's too long. One wouldn't want to read it because they don't like fantasy. About three of them would START reading it, then stop because of the cursing/violence/sexual references. Two of them wouldn't want to read it because it has alot of long words, and then another one would start reading it, but then stop because there's no pictures. gonk

Therefore, I have nobody to discuss it with. Except for people over the internet. But that's not the same...*sigh* Why does this always seem to happen to me when I read a good book? gonk

What about me?? I'll read it! (^^) I've gotta go to the library to pick up a book anyway.
