Y'know, a week or two ago at school, band went to Boston and orchestra went to New York. And that REALLY makes me want to travel somewhere. I've always loved the idea of traveling to places I've never been to before to be in a different atmosphere than the one I live in now, and I've always wanted to travel far out-of-state. I want to taste their food and experience their way of life. But the farthest I've ever traveled is to Maryland..Which is like, a state above us. That's no fun. D: Well, unless you count that time my family went to Georgia once. But that was when I was 3 years old! How am I supposed to remember that??
I mean, sure, Virginia has plenty of attractions and interesting things to do. But it mostly has to do with PRESIDENTS and HISTORY, since we're "the father of presidents" or whatever. That's bo-ring. It's like school.
I wanna go someplace far away with a different lifestyle than mine. Maybe I could go to Boston or New York, since the people I know who went there all said they had lots of fun. Or maybe I could go someplace different, like Las Vegas or Memphis, Tennesee. Or I could go someplace in the countryside, like Texas. Maybe I could even go out of the country.
Oh man, there are SO many places I want to go to all over the world...England, for the tradition and history; Spain, for the food and culture; Australia, for the wildlife and nature; France, for the scenery and elegance; Japan for...Well, for the anime, video games, food, and culture. xd
*Sigh* That would be amazing...But nooo, my family has to be boring. My parents say "they don't have enough time", and "it costs too much money". They could take a week off, then!
...But it WOULD be pretty expensive to go to ANY ONE of those places...
Okay, here's the plan to save money... We could walk to everywhere that's in the country, and as for other countries, we could swim across the Atlantic Ocean. PROBLEM SOLVED! mrgreen
...Wait, I can't swim...Well, we could steal someone's boat! There! HA!
Oh, who am I kidding. That would never work. -_-; Ah, well...I guess I'll always be stuck here in boring old Virginia...>.<
