I made/applied some shelf labels this morning. Then I spent the rest of the day merging serial records. (Some of the serials in the consortium have multiple bibliographic records, and before these records are moved over to the new system, they have to be merged - those in the "minority" record have to move their records to the "majority" record. Fortunately, I weeded the magazines first. Unfortunately, there are still many, many records to move. First they have to be double-checked against a list, then deleted, and then recreated and checked in in the correct bibliographic record. It is a rather time-consuming process. My grandparents also visited the library, as they had not seen it since the move, and I was able to give them a brief tour.
