Well, after being told to about 10 times this week, I decided to actually write, because I knew this chapter is gonna be good, and definitly more exciting. ;3
&, I want to make sure I avoid getting hit by numerous objects. X3
On with the story!
Alone
Chapter 14
My fingertips combed through my hair as I tried to make it look somewhat decent. Even if I was a girl who took nothing from anyone, I still had to stop my self from looking like some hobo who was stalking some poor kid.
My feet walked in time with Jason's as he pulled me through the city streets. I was unaware to where we were going, but didn't really care anyways, as long as it wasn't too bad. I could always ditch him at any time, so I always had a way out, for now anyways.
Suddenly, I came to the realization that we had reached the park which I had often gone to. It was the same park where he had seen me before. I sat down on to the bench, my back making contact with the wooden planks. Following my movements, Jason did the same. We sat there, silence taking over the air. I had no need to start a conversation, but he did.
"So Alexis, what do you want to do today?"
"Nothing." I replied, my voice cold and blank.
"That doesn't sound like much fun, now does it?"
"It actually is quite fun, you should try it some time." I answered, sarcasm glowing with each word.
"Well, I might, but not today! Let's go do something." He stated, smiling.
"No." I snapped.
Before he was able to make a reply, another voice sliced through the air.
"Aww, look at the two lovebirds. Trouble in paradise?"
I whirled around to the direction of the voice. My eyes widened as I saw one person, Ray.
"What are you talking about?" I blankly asked.
"You know what I'm talking about, you two are out on a little date. I always knew you were after her Jason, but I never knew poor Alexis would fall for your tricks."
"Shut up! What do you know!" Yelled Jason.
"A lot more then you think, you pea-brained jock. I should've got my gang to beat you up a long time ago."
"Your gang couldn't land a finger on me."
"Oh really? You're slow and weak, a lot weaker then your girlfriend over here, but then again, she's weak as well."
I cringed at the word. Girlfriend. It had nothing to do with me. That word only worked with... Diane. I did not want to be associated with it, with her, with him. Ray was bunching me with all the preps just because I rejected his offer. His words were really starting to piss me off.
"I am not weak." I stated, my voice firm and assertive.
"Oh? Then why are you dating a p***y?"
"We're not dating, I wouldn't go out with him seriously even if he was the last person on earth." I replied, coldly.
"Is that so? Then what are you guys doing?"
"Nothing."
"Are you sure? I swear you guys were about to make out."
My eyes glared at him. He had just crossed the line, and now he was just like Diane. I got my fist ready to hit him in the face. I took a step towards him, his facail expression not changing from his smirk. Just as I was about to throw the punch, I was unable to.
Jason had thrown him to the ground.
