its been awhile. Lots has happened, though, so I thought I'd share my speakings before heading off to do some more homework.
So Saturday was freaking FUN. x3 I slept in until 11 (had to get up at 8 though to feed the dog and dad then went back to bed) and then at noon we headed to Willmar to do stuffs. The first place we went: the Humane Society. to look for: yet another DOG. -.-;;
You see, Karen and Chris broke up last Thursday (I knew the instant that I saw Karen what had happened on Thursday, but it wasn't until after school Friday that I asked her about it...). And the next thing I know, she wants a freaking DOG. Like a big one to keep outside. This, of course, got me pissy.
Numero uno: I am emotionally drained. I cannot handle giving more love to yet another creature for awhile.
Numero dos: They say I won't need to love it or take care of it. psssht bull. EVERY SINGLE TIME during the summer when a kitten gets lost, who do they give it to to take care of? Me!! What about abandoned birds? Me! I always end up taking care of creatures once the cute factor wears off. *sigh* I love each and every single animal I take care of, so you can see why I don't want to get attached to yet another dog.
Numero tres: ....... who has money these days to waste on an animal that deserves a better life than what we can offer it?
Numero cuatro: That's my point. We cannot give it a good home. The dog (its a black lab- we've had sooo many black labs in the past I can't even remember all of them... *sigh*) is named Smokey Robinson, and the ladies working there told us that he was there because his owner was arrested for neglect. And quite honestly I don't think we can do a lot better... We have Garth to take care of, and 30-odd cats, and each other. I'd feel really guilty and super-responsible to make sure it has a good home, and like I said before, I don't think I can do that.
so after that whole episode, I asked mom, "So when my boyfriend breaks up with me, can I get a laptop?" ........ she didn't seem to appreciate that comment.
...... well that was a downer moment....
ANYWAYS after that we went to Wendy's. Freaking worst place to go- the manager lady was like spazzing out at the other employees, and instead of helping them with a problem, she was just making it worse. -.-
Then the fun started. =3 We met at church with the rest of the youth group, and went out to someone's grove to clean up tree stuffs. When that tornado hit last summer, their place was one of the worst hit, and so we went out there to cut, bundle, and stack the wood. Karen and I ended up tying the bundles together (got a nasty twine burn on my pinkie where I held the rope down...) and then we went back to the Jorschumb's house to unload what we had bundled while Ramee and Sara stayed behind to finish cutting and then stacking the leftovers.
(oh and Austin had his gf with- lol I still can't believe they're together... they seem like a very unlikely couple, but its already been almost a year (?) and they're still together... o.O the problem with her being there though: they got nothing done. They just sat there and body-flirted the whole time. -.-;; )
When we got back to the grove, us girls found some barbies in Stacey's car and Sara had the idea to take off their clothes and moon Caleb with them through the window. xDD Then Marin screamed when he tried to get in through the trunk... xD
after we were all done with that, we went to Jimmy's Pizza and had a blast just playing BS and gorging on pizza and laughing about really random stuff. I thought we were gonna go our separate ways after that, but instead we ended up all walking to the theater (I had no money- Ramee payed for Karen and me. xP) and watching 17 Again. Freaking awesome movie! x33 I loved it... when mom and dad were driving us home (they were at Jorschumb's for Truth Project (which I conveniently skipped to go to the theaters... sweatdrop )) they kept having to tell Karen and me to shut up. xD
hmmm....... Sunday we had to sing (I had a solo... first time singing one ever, and I don't think I'll be doing one again anytime soon... sweatdrop ) and after church we went to Renville (I think) to go to that benefit for the Schroder family (the one with the Cards by Reese...) for lunch. (saw Froibergs, Hagemeyers, and Donners there... o.O)
It was rainy. neutral
And then Monday I had piano and I took Karen along (we took a different route since the north road is really soft from the rain) to get a new trumpet for her (her other one got stolen a couple months back...) and then we had lunch at the hospital (pizza and sobe woot) then headed home.
I'm still waiting to get a cookie dough blizzard from DQ. I've been waiting for 2 months now... =l
Other than that, I've been swamped with hw lately. *big sigh* Also today and Thursday were/are reverse schedules... actually I think today went pretty fast.
We're started to edit our film for english. Turns out some more things got overlapped, so its all confuzzling. x/ that's what I hate about actual tape cameras- they're way too easy to mess up. -.-;; I learned that the hard way with Elliot's camera...
Speaking of him, my sister's brother is looking more and more like Elliot everyday. o.O oh AND he got a nintendo DSi the other day, and just tonight we hooked it up to the wireless internet. *shrugs* so I guess that means I can hook up the Wii now... lol cool. 8]
........... gaia seems pretty dead these days. Originally I hadn't even intended on coming on tonight because I had what mom calls a migrane (I just call it a really bad headache that I had to OD on painkillers and naptime to get rid of) but here I am... *tries to grin?*
whatever. My avi is very... neko-ish. o.O I never did get into the whole cat person thing... so this is rather strange for me lol. biggrin
oh and "lol" seems to be the phrase of the night.
