Home Wreckers Ch.11:
Fawns mother snuck into her room around midnight the very same night as she learned about her uncle and Ahtella. Her mother had a spell, a chant that would help her daughter with her summoned troubles.
“Honey?” She asked wearily. Fawn was a light sleeper and was startled very easily. “Huh?” she groaned in return.
“I was looking through some there books and found a spell that would stop anything from coming through…” she whispered sweetly, knowing her daughter wanted to hear this very much. She waited for a reply.
“Sounds good,” she said lazily. Her eyes fluttered open momentarily, but shut forcefully. “I’ll say it tomorrow.”
“They’re instructions rather than spell, Hun. Sorry about that.” She apologized even though she really didn’t have to. “You really don’t have to say a word for it to work.” Now she had more of Fawn’s attention. She rolled back the covers and sat straight up in bed.
“Then what?" she asked annoyed, but not really.
"You have to destroy the mirror..."
After school I broke the compact. With no way for anything to come through how and they. After the glass was shattered by our hammer. I melted the plastic that held everything together. It was sad and relaxing at the same time. Watching the flames dance by my breath and the strange colors the content in the plastic gave off due to the heat.
An odd occurrence happened after the burning was of my summoned. They all became ill. Both of heart and physically, vomiting with every movement like they had acquired food poisoning. Mom told me that it was just a side effect and that it was wrong to worry, but I couldn't help it. I put out the flame before it could consume all of the tarnished plastic.
