Tuesday...First Day of Class at NYU

Today was rather nice.

Status: not bad, not bad at all

Hm, I met Patsy and Noelle at Barnes and Nobles at Union Square around 3 and we read manga for a while. Then I got really hungry so we went to Subway's on 3rd Ave. And I shared a cookie with Patsy. It was a good cookie. =3 Subway's seems to have good food overall. The sandwiches are good, the cookies are good, and the plzza is good! =3

We just walked around after that and ended up going to some park around Rutherford Place. There was a guy sleeping on a table. o.o

And then eventually we ended up going back since they had to go around 5pm. Patsy's parents are so nice! Her mom called and when she told her she was with us, her mom told her to go hang out longer with us. xD That was before we ate.

Hm, so thanks to Noelle's keen sense of direction, I didn't get lost and kind of knew where I was going. xD

So, the class was alright. My professor, Eric Brenner (am i supposed to call him Mr. Brenner, i wonder?) was pretty cool. Humorous although not so much as to induce laughter. xD For the most part, the information today was familiar. Strangely though, knowledge seems so applicable as if I suddenly realize that all the stuff learned in school isn't forgotten after the test and that its all quite familiar. Even random things I've read or things I've learned from tv or maybe even LEAP club are applicable. Its interesting. And the time went by quite fast. 2 hours is nothing I guess. Especially compared to Amy's prep classes. 6 hours, 3 days a week! And 4 hours on Fridays! Talk about work.

I'd like to say that I don't need test prep, and maybe I don't (self study should do), but I haven't the motivation to study on my own. T.T *sniffles* I was born to be a lazy failure, yesyes?

Oh yeah, interesting thing, one of the students in my class is actually a bio teacher herself (she contributes some really interesting things to the discussion, seriously! =3). That's pretty cool. =3

I hope I don't have to buy the textbook tomorrow anyway. I'd rather just read it at the library...yet there seem to be 20 or so NYU libraries. I'll just assume its the one around the block.

Hmm anyway, I was reading this pretty good book at Barnes and Nobles called Speak. I hope to go back and read more of it tomorrow. It's about this girl who seems to have had some tragic event in her life that caused her to go semi emo and stop speaking to people. That is, she generally ignores people to the best of her ability.

I think its understandable that she's lonely and wants to fit in, but I really don't like how she takes her friend Heather for granted and doesn't try to properly explain the situation that made her best friends hate her. She just lets people beat down on her about her calling the cops, for whatever reason it was. Hm, weird thing was, the first time I went around 3pm with Patsy and Noelle and compared to the second time after the class around 8:30pm, the book had a different cover. xD Guess it must be that good, and people are buying it? =3

I must finish reading it tomorrow!

Ah, tomorrow...first day of work. Should be nice-ish-esque-like. I hope. Or should think. Or should like to think. o.o
