Our DDR game for the Wii arrived on Saturday. It's kind of fun, although the hand motions are odd. I'd forgotten how much I'd missed DDR. My sister's friend Jon and his friend Tom came over on Sunday. We made pancakes (not quite as good as Dad's) and played tennis. I am bad at tennis, but that's a given, as I am bad at all sports, lacking in hand-eye coordination. Then my sister's boyfriend came over, and we all went out to eat at P. F. Chang's. I am very fond of their double pan-friend noodles.
Yesterday I read the entirety of Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies by Jared Diamond. It was quite excellent and really went a long way toward explaining why things ended up the way they did - why Europeans conquered the Americas, Africa, and Australia instead of the other way around. Very fascinating.
