" to live life free...Is what i long for....I wish i could fly..." A young boy said as he looked up into the sky. His hand covered his eyes and he looked up to block the sun. For it was early in the morning. His hair covered his eyes and his cloths where a forest green color. The morning sun's raise radiated off of his cloths as he stood there. He gave the sky a faint smile before he hard his name called. "Kino!...Get your a** inside!! " Kino's mother yelled from inside his small house on the farm. Kino Jumped a little as his hair moved up and his eyes had been reveled with his worried face. You could see it in Kino's eyes how worried he was. The unique thing about kino was that his left eye was yellow and his right eye was blue.
Quickly Kino ran inside. He kicked off his shoes and ran to the kitchen sliding across the floor a bit. He almost passed the hallway as he nervously ran. He grabbed the kitchens door frame and swung himself into it. His mother stood there with her arms crossed and a angry look on her face. "Kino!" he yelled at the site of him. Kino stood up straight and bowed to his mother. "what is it maim?" Kino said in a calm manner. If he showed that he was worried or nervous she would just get badder. " Where have you been?! You have work to do!" She said in an angry tone as she walked over to Kino. She put a towel in his hands and pushed him to the sink. "Do the dishes, then you have to tent to the crops on the farm, feed the animals and then i would like you to go into town and buy this list of things I'll need." He said getting a bit enough as she shoved a piece of paper and some money into Kino's pocket and walked off. Kino sighed as he started on the dishes. He washed and dried them slowly as he looked out of the kitchen window day dreaming.
Kino soon finished the dishes and walked outside to tend to the crops. it was hot out and he began to sweat. He rubbed his forehead and looked up at he sky and watched some birds fly by before he looked back down at the crops and started working again. He did things at a slow and stedy pace so he wouldn't have to do them over.
Sighing Kino put his shovel down and ran into the barn and got some food for the pigs and hens they had. He picked up the two heavy bags and dragged then over to the pigs first. "here you are my piggies..." Kino said as he poured the pig's food into the food dish. He then pulled the two bags over to the chicken coop. "ok here we go" He said taking out a cup and he scooped up some feed for the Hens. Each hen got one cup of the feed and Kino was trying to go fast so he had to go back and get a little more for some of them. After he dropped the cup into the bag and dragged them back to the barn. He took a deep breath. His work wasn't over yet and it was getting a bit later into the day. So the sky was changing colors.
Kino ran back inside his home to change his cloths to something less sweaty. He has to hurry or the stores would close. "hmm..." He said thinking about a faster way to get into town. He grinned grabbing the money and the list out of his old paints. Then running down stats and kinda jumping into his boots. He ran for the barn again. Where outside you could hear a series of banging and Kino's light yell. Then an engine starts up. Oh It was Kino's hovercraft. More like a heap of junk as the towns people put it. It was Kino's own invention and so far it was working pretty well. It was moving as a pretty good speed and in no time he was in town.
"easy as apple pie..." Kino said as he saw the town. He then pulled on the brake but it didn't work. "huh?!" He said pressing 3 buttons and then pulling the brakes again. "aah?!" he cried when it didn't work. " oh god...Look out!!" he yelled at some people walking in town. He hovercraft crashed into the ground and people gasped. "damn..." Kino said getting out of the hover craft and coughing a bit. "Damn you Ishihara!" A man yelled as he walked out of his store. "you almost his my shop! again!" he said crossing his arms angry. "I-I'm sorry sir. But i didn't hit it..." Kino said bowing his head. "you almost did! aah! i don't know what your mother will do with you...If you where my child i would have sent you away a long time ago!" he said yelling in Kino's face. Kino was getting a bit angry at the mans words. But before he could do anything the man was gone.
Kino sighed before walking back to his hovercraft. It wasn't beat up to bad so Kino turned it on and slowly dragged it along to the store. Little did Kino know he was being watched. He soon got to the store and got the things that where on his shopping list. He didn't know why hes mother would need eel oil but he got it anyway. Sighing as he gave the man the money he walked outside to see a person in a dark brown coat sitting on his hovercraft. The person giggled and bye the tone of the voice Kino could tell it was a girl. "who are you?" He asked walking a bit closer to the women. "I am Halven Joshua..." He giggled again jumping down. "I just wanted to meat you once...before its too late..." She giggled as she put her hand on the side of the hovercraft. "now hurry...before mom gets mad again..." she said before jumping in the air and disappearing.
Kino got in the hovercraft and started it up to fly away back home. He didn't understand what had just happened but it didn't seem good. He was a little bit zoned out as he flew home. He was thinking about that girl. but because of that he almost hit his mother as he can into the barn. "aah!" he said landing and jumping out of the hover craft. "Kino!" his mother yelled. Kino bowed to his mother. "I'm so sorry! it will never happen again." Kino said as he pried for his mother not to beat him.
