Ami's blue eyes widened. "What?" Dallgun clasped his hands together. "I think it would be best that you become in this work instead of just hiding it from you. Ryght believes that you are capable of doing this. He was the one who recommended you." Ami glanced in his direction and bowed lightly to him. He looked back and gave a faint smile. The two looked back at Dallgun when he cleared his throat. "This won't be like the work you've been doing. Should you accept, you'll be getting orders directly from me or Headmaster. Also, you'll be dealing with all sorts of classified information. It will be a great undertaking. So Miss Satomora, will you accept?" Ami took a moment to let it all sink in. She was already stressed from all the work she was getting. So a higher workload probably wouldn't be the best route. But it also gave her a chance to work with Hyuga more frequently. Ami closed her eyes and nodded slightly, coming up with her decision. "A request sir?" He leaned in. "I'm listening." "I would like for Kyoh Sage and Emil Prescott, after clearing to work again, to be on this as well. Those two are like my family and it doesn't feel right with me if I can't let them in." Then she mumbled, "I'll probably spill it to them anyway." Dallgun smirked. "I see, then I accept that request. He went over to a screen and started looking at it. "Kyoh Sage eh? He was in the same class as you three and was Ami's partner during the training period. Also, he and Ami lived on the same colony and joined at the same time." He put the screen away. "You two are like siblings. I will ask. So I can assume that you accept as well?" Ami nodded. "Yes sir, I would be honored to accept." Dallgun stood up. "I'll go contact him now. Waber, please go and escort him here." Ethan nodded. "Yes sir." When he left Dallgun ordered, "Ryght, you use one of the meeting rooms and catch Satomora up." "Yes sir." he said. He took Ami by the hand. "Follow me."

For the next couple hours, Hyuga explained about the Seed and things surrounding them. He left out details that didn't need to be known, like the connection between the Divine Maiden and Karen. "This is a lot to take in." Ami remarked. Hyuga just smiled. "I know." "But I think I get it." There was some silence between them. "Kyoh think that you should go to the medical center. Emil had an episode earlier. He thought that since you were there as well, it wouldn't hurt." Ami looked away. "I'm fine really. But what happened when Emil had an episode?" "He kept on shouting Magashi." he replied. Ami was silent. "I see." 'He did something to us when he attacked us.' She shook her head. "He'll pull through, I do believe in him."
There was some more silence between them. It mainly consisted of Ami reading the classified files and Hyuga just looking over. His eyes widened when he remembered something. "Oh, you know that the formal is this week right?" Ami stopped reading to look up at him. "It's this week? I never really liked dances and stuff." "So I assume that I'll be going alone this year?" Hyuga asked. Ami's eyes widened, then her face turned beet red. "Err...no. I'll go. I can't assure that I'll be a happy person there." Then she looked down. "Think I can find a dress in time?" "If you start now." he replied. Ami stood up. "Alright. I'll get to looking for a dress." She made her way to the door before she stopped. "And thanks." Hyuga smiled. "No problem." She smiled back then left.
"Oooh I hate not having girls my age as friends." Ami muttered to herself. It was only a day away from the formal and she was having a bit of trouble. "Ami! Ami!" shouted a woman. She turned around to see a head of red-brown hair. "Emelia!" Ami shouted. She waved her hands so that it would be easier for Emelia to spot her. She ran over to Ami and gave her a hug. "It's been too long." "Since the mission to the Relics." Ami finished. "Yeah. I visited Emil today. Seems that his vitals are getting better. So if things keep going like this, he might be out soon than expected." Ami smiled. "That's great. I need to visit him sometime." Emelia stood beside Ami as they waited for the train to come through. "So what brings you to the Linear Line. You don't have any missions do you?" she asked. Ami shook her head. "No, not at all. Everything's been a bit easier on me since the Seed are gone. But I'm having a hard time trying to find a dress." "For the fomal?" Emelia asked. Ami nodded. "I haven't worn one since I was a kid, so I don't know what to do." Ami sighed at her problem. "I can help you. I already have mines." Ami looked at her. "Since when did you become a Guardian?" Emelia placed her hands on her hips. "Not too long after the mission to the Relics. I was transferred to the R&D department of Guardians." Ami nodded. "I see. Anyway, I would love your help." The train pulled up as they were talking. "Alright. Lets get started."
Ami and Emelia were sitting together on the train while they were going to another section of the colony. "So, you have a date?" Emelia asked. Ami's face turned red. "Not exactly. Since Hyuga is going too, we thought that it would be better if we just go together." Emelia leaned over and nudged Ami. "So young love has blossomed. It's a beautiful thing." "It's not like that at all!" Ami said. "We're....we're not like that." Emelia looked at her. "So what happened? He rejected you or something?" Ami shook her head. " 'Let's just try.' is all he said. We're not together in that sense." Ami fiddled with her fingers. "Not that I don't mind how it it right now. I'm happy." Emelia clapped her hands. "Then we will need to find something that would make him turn his head." Ami's face became redder. "Nothing too showy. It's a formal." Emelia gave a slight pout. "Fine. But nothing too old fashioned. You have a nice body from all that training you've done. Show it off everyone once in a while." The train slowly pulled up to the stop. "Well, lets go."

"Are you sure about this?" Ami asked. It was about an hour before the formal was to take place. "You said that you liked the dress." Emelia said. "Not that. My hair. I'm having second thoughts about it." Emelia placed her hand on top of Ami's bare shoulder. "It's fine. You're too used to it pinned up. Just be happy we agreed on little make-up." Megami floated around the two. "You look nice Ami. Your mama wrote to send some pictures." Ami's face became red. "I will I will." Emelia took Ami by the arm. "Come on, you don't want to be late."
The two finally arrived at the formal. It was a grand ballroom. There were plently of people, mostly Guardians talking and dancing. Ami glanced around. "Where is he?" she said to herself. Emelia stood beside her. Emelia wore a shimmering black slinky dress that showed off her figure. Her hair was into a bun that freely fell to the bottom. Her glasses were hung low so that people could clearly see the shape of her eyes. "He's here, I can just tell. I'm going to go and catch up with some people." Ami nodded and watched as Emelia walked towards the crowd. She closed her eyes. "It's now or never." "Ami?"
Ami turned to the male that called her. "Kyoh? I didn't know that formals were your thing." Kyoh wore a dark red long coat with black pants, accented at the bottom with gold and the same colored red boots. His coat and boots had gold accents as well. "I didn't know as well. Almost thought that you were a lady there." Ami put Kyoh in a playful headlock. "Just because I'm in a dress doesn't mean I don't know how to knock you one." Kyoh wailed his arms about. "Come on stop. We're not supposed to act like this." Ami let him go. Kyoh went and straightened himself out. "But seriously, you do look nice." Ami nodded. "Thanks. You don't look bad yourself." "Oh and thanks for the offer." Kyoh added. "It's nothing really. It doesn't feel right to hide stuff from you. We did grow up together after all." Kyoh chuckled. "Yeah, I know. Looking for Hyuga?" Ami nodded. "I talked to him a little earlier. He should be somewhere in this room." As if he was summoned, Hyuga appeared.
He was wearing a dark purpleish blue long coat with four small lighter blue ropes in the front secured by mandarin buttons. His shoes were the same color as his long coat while he wore black pants. "Ami? I can barely recongize you." Ami blushed. Kyoh stepped away. "I'll go and talk with Ethan for a bit." After he left, there was silence between them. Hyuga quickly scanned Ami's outfit. She wore a blue shoulderless dress which stopped just below her ankles and the sleeve hung from her upper arm. There were accents of white on the dress. Most noticibly a criss-cross shape on her torso, giving the illusion that she was wearing a corset. Her shoes were a slightly lighter blue. Around her neck was a white choker necklace that covered her nanotranformer. Her hair was let out and had spring-like curls near the end. The only make-up she had on was a light coat of white eye shadow and pastel pink lip color with a bit of gloss. "Is it too much?" Ami asked shyly. Hyuga shook his head. "No. It's perfect." Then he offered his hand. "Dance?" Ami hesitantly took his hand. "I'm not that good, fair warning." Hyuga just laughed. "Lets just try."
As they made their way to the dance floor, Emelia gave a supporting wink at Ami. Her face turned red at the sight of it. "I'm uncomfortable about all of this." she admitted. The pair stopped just at the edge of the dance floor. "Really? Why?" Ami looked away. "I don't want to embarrass you or anything." He gave her a reassuring smile. "Nothing you do will embarrass me." He pulled her close to him. "Besides, it can't be better than that time in the academy." Ami's face turned red at the mention. "I told you that I was sorry about that. I really didn't know how to dance then and..." Hyuga cocked an eyebrow. "And?" "And I," Ami began, "wasn't really comfortable around you then. There I said it. Subborness from the sparring we did stayed strong." He just laughed to himself. "Ah I see now. That's why you always avoided me when we were in the academy." Ami pouted, "It's not funny. The only guys I've felt comfortable around before becoming a Guardian was my dad, Kyoh, and the management at the restaurant that I worked in." "So you worked in a restaurant?" Ami nodded her head. "Yeah, as a hostess. It was a small restaurant though. My dad went there a lot before I was born so they accepted me easily enough." And the exchange continued like this, the two of them swaying while making idle conversation. Before they knew it, the song was over. Hyuga felt a tap on the shoulder. "You don't mind for a second, do you?" Ami's eyes widened at who it was.
"Emil?" Sure enough, it was Emil standing. Hyuga moved out of the way. "Sure, be my guest. Ami, I'll be over at the table if you need me." Ami nodded, still taken aback at Emil's appearance. Once Hyuga was gone, Emil smiled. "So, this is how you look when you are in a dress. I must say, you look very lovely tonight." "What are you doing here?" Ami asked, "I thought you weren't cleared to leave yet." Emil was slient at first. "It's okay, There are a few nurses here to get me out if needed be. Once Emelia told me that you were coming here, I had to go." Emil came up closer to Ami and they began to dance a little. "Ami," he whispered, "I suggest you go see a medic as soon as possible. There is a possibility that you have nano machines in your body too." Ami was silent. "It would explain why I had blacked out in the Relics." Ami shook her head. "I'm fine. Really." Emil looked at Ami, trying to find any sign of her lying. "Alright, but I have a bad feeling about this. Magashi...I feel that this is just the beginning of something big." Ami separated herself from Emil. "Excuse me, I need to get some air."
Ami hurried out of the room to a balcony. She looked outside, then sighed. Ami glanced at her arm. Luckily, the sleeves covered her arm that Magashi injured. "But why would he leave just like that and not try to kill me though?" she mumbled to herself. "Ah, so you're her." said a female voice. Ami turned and then immediately bowed. "Maiden, it's a pleasure to see you here." The Divine Maiden looked at Ami with a slight blush on her face. "It's alright, you don't have to be so formal with me. I was invited here by someone." Then she took notice to Ami's expression. "What is the matter?" She shook her head. "It's nothing really." Then the Divine Maiden frowned as she put her hands on her hips. "I bet it's Hyuga again. I told him that doing that will get someone mad one day." Ami was a bit surprised at the Maiden's change in attitude. "It's not that. Wait? He's talking to another girl right now?" She nodded. Ami sighed. "Not like it really matters, I'm not his girlfriend anyway." The Maiden made her way until she was standing beside Ami. "I see. I would have assumed with how he talks about you. You know it's like he's at ease when you are brought up." Then she shook her head. "I heard that you are specializing in twin daggers." Ami nodded. "Yeah, but it's hard to find someone who is good at them to give me some advice." Ami noticed that the Maiden was thinking about something. "How about you and I spar for a bit." "I-I-If that's okay." said Ami, "But I didn't know that you specialized in them." The Maiden got onto the rail of the balcony and jumped off. As she did, her nanotransformer glowed blue as her body did. Ami looked in surprised as she saw who it was that was waiting for her at the bottom.

So I've finally beaten FFX yesterday. Holy ******** was I so happy to finally beat it. A year of on and off with 4 new files and I finally beat it. I have to say that I love it now.
