It's been two years since the destruction of the Seed. The Gurhal system now knew peace. While there were small fits of violence, none were on the scale that the Seed were.

"She should be coming back today." said Kyoh. In the time passing, his hair has gotten a bit shorter. He, along with Emil, Ethan, and Hyuga stood at P.P.T floor of the Guardian's colony. Sometime last year, the original colony was destoryed went it was sabotaged by a terrorist group. Luckily, most of the people who resided were saved. And those who parished were the ones who saved them. A prominent name was the late President Dallgun. Despite that, the colony was built in a short amount of time. Also, the new president, President Laia had made the Guardians more effiecient in their procedures, gaining in favor with everyone. Even with their busy schedules, the four males still took time out here and then to hang out. "Yeah, but she's been rather busy." said Ethan. "Just the other day, she was training with Karen. Gotten better if I do say." Emil let out a sigh, "If Emelia is wrong this time, I swear I will..." Emil didn't finish what he was saying. Ethan still had on his attire from the short time he was with the rogues, but it was out of how comfortable it was. Emil looked the same, with the exception of some more gray hairs. Hyuga still wore the colors he always wore, the only thing was that he wore a longer jacket-borderline coat. "Emelia isn't wrong when it comes to her though." Emil had to admit. Out of everyone, Hyuga was the only one who hadn't seen Ami since the message from the medical center two years prior. It was mostly out of respect of Ami's wishes. But it was the same reason why Ami asked him to not try and find her: To sort out his priorities. But she indeed kept good on her promise about helping Maya construct a cure for the Seed-virus. Thanks to her and Maya and the others, everyone who was infected was recovering quickly. It would still be a couple more years for everyone to acquire the cure. At least, doctors didn't have to worry about the infected rising.
A group of people came out of the Neudaiz port. Then a woman and a younger male, not that much younger than the woman, came towards the group of males. "Hey guys." she said. The male stood shyly behind the woman. "Oh, Ami. You're...different." said Kyoh. Her hair kept the same length it was while she was under the Seed-virus influence, just loosely tied up in the back. She work a long navy blue coat which stopped at her knees. Underneath was a white shirt and black pants with a matching black necktie. Finally, she wore navy blue flat shoes. All around, her coat had a green accent, her line shield. "Well, I was on business when I had to come and report to President Laia. Oh!" She moved out the way so that everyone could see the male. "This is Ashe Flowen, I'm his instructor." Ashe was a Newman male. His hair was black with forest green highlights tied into a small ponytail. His eyes were the same color green as his hair. "Nice to meet you all." he said. Ami smiled a bit. "Despite his appearance, he's a bit shy." This made Ashe blush. "Instructor..." he said while blushing. Ami just laughed it off. "So, Emelia told us that you wanted to tell us something?" Emil asked. Ami gave a simple smile. "She did? Well it's not much anyway. It's just that I'm transferring back the Colony. I've finished all my duties over at Nuedaiz. And it will be easier when it comes to Ashe. It'll be better if the rest of his time is spent here." Kyoh placed his arm around Ashe's shoulder. "Well, Ashe, lets go hang out and you can tell us how horrible Ami is." With that, a harisen came at his head. Emil stood there, amazed. "When did you make that?" Ami put the giant fan on her shoulder non-chalant-like. "Before I was assigned Ashe. I told you one day I was going to make one." Emil shrugged it off. "Well, come on everyone." Hyuga began to walk off until he felt a tug on his sleeve. It was Ami. "We haven't caught up yet. It's been two years with virtually no contact with one another." He nodded. "Right, but you should report to the president. She's not the one who likes tardiness."
After a couple minutes, the two were sitting at a cafe in one of the recreation blocks of the colony. "So, I've heard that you were involved in a lot of stuff." Ami told him. "Not as much." he said. She shook her head. "Don't be modest. Even though Ethan wasn't a Guardian at the time, he and I kept in constant contact. When I heard some things, I was worried." Ami began to fiddle with her drink. "Well, it could have been worse. What about you? Everyone's been secretive about your whereabouts and your going ons. The most I got was today." She looked down at the table. It looked like she was thinking about something. "I think it's safe to say now. Yes, I was helping Maya with the cure but not in the way one might think. I offered to personally test each cure to see if it works." Hyuga became silent at the mention. "So I see. Well I need to thank you." Ami was confused. "Maya didn't tell you? I had a strain of the virus in me as well. If you didn't do what you did, then we would have no cure and I would still be getting injections." Ami responded by laughing. His cheeks became a slight pink. "It's not funny." "I'm sorry, but I didn't think you were the type who was weary of needles." "Not in succession like that." he plainly responded. Ami nodded. "I understand, I hate the needles as well. Anyway, after the cure was sucessfully developed, I went to therapy." She became quiet again. "Being stuck in a bed does things and I was still recuperating from the nano-machines being taken out. And I did some psychiatric therapy as well." She took a breath to explain. "It actually came as a suggestion out of the blue. They said that I was able to retain my consciousness as I was working for Magashi. But I don't remember much of it. Thought that it would help it along. Or if I can't get that back, better cope with what happened." She smiled at him. "It's working. I'm not as mad at myself anymore with what has happened. Anyway, my sessions were pretty much done so now would have been a nice time for me to transfer back."
Hyuga listened intently at what Ami was saying. It did surprise him that she did so much over the two years they've not seen each other. "During that time, I met Ashe. It was during the time when the Casts went out of control. I was going to go with Maya to the colony because of the call Lou made. He was in trouble so I decided to stay back while Maya went on ahead. We were able to hide with Karen as it was going on." Her hands balled into fists. "If I was there just a little sooner, I might have been able to help his sister." "Sister?" She nodded. "Younger. They were trying to get away but the Casts were too strong. It was too late for her by the time I came. Now I know how Ethan felt. Ashe was real distraught over what happened. So when I left to go to the colony after the incident he followed me. He wanted to be a Guardian so here we are. He's a nice person. To think that in a few weeks, he'll be finished with his field training." There was a silence between them. Hyuga's eyes widened when he remembered something. "Oh! I completely forgot about this." He was digging in his pockets as Ami's comm-unit beeped. "Hold that for a minute." she said. She went over to a corner and turned it on.
A few nods and "Okay's" later Ami reemerged. "Seems that they want me to check out a creature on Parum. It's been overly hostile so they think it's possible that it's a Seed infected creature." Hyuga stood up. "I'll go with you." She nodded. "Okay, it's going to be much since Mina said that I not bring Ashe." She took a moment to check her items. "All set. Lets go."
The two arrived near the site specified. Along the way, they faced a few creatures. But nothing that they haven't done before. "We're almost there." Ami said. Another step, and a growl was heard. The two prepared their preferred weapons. Hyuga noticed that it wasn't the Gizha-zashi like she always used. It was still a twin dagger. But it was thinner and the blades were fire-imbued. At the handles, one had white tips and the other was purple. "Got it as a drop." she answered. They stanced beside each other, preparing for what was coming. The ground seemed to shake with each step the creature took. It emerged from the shadows. It looked to be plant based. "Ever seen one before?" she asked him. His only reply was a shake of the head. It towered both of them by a few feet. The plant creature opened it's petals. The middle was yellow, but it had fangs. A purple gas flowed out from the creature to them. "It's a poison gas!" Hyuga noted. He placed his arm over his mouth, to block the fumes. Ami did the same. "I haven't seen anything like it before." Ami commented. The gas dissipated after that. Ami rushed up to the plant and attacked it with her daggers. Hyuga was amazed at how she progressed in her skills. There was still a certain roughness in her excution of attacks, but it was ultimately effective. In any other case of course. This plant was tougher than it looked. Hyuga took out his goggles and examined the creature. He became shocked when he realized something. "Ami! I can't trace any Seed in it." She turned for a second to look at him. It was all the creature needed to throw one of it's vines at Ami. It circled around her body until it constricted her. "Ami, I'll get you." he said. Hyuga ran over and started to slash at the vines. "Don't worry about me. Go after the plant itself." The vines lifted Ami and lauched her towards Hyuga, sliding them both back into the ground. "You've gotten...ugh...a bit bigger." he remarked. If it wasn't for the fact that Ami was the one that got thrown, she would have beat up Hyuga for calling her heavy. "It's just you getting weaker." she remarked back. She got up and dusted herself off. "Maya told me the little stunt you pulled when G-Colony was in danger." Ami dematerialized her twin daggers and bought out a small wand with a machine over her. "Looks like I will have to use some Technics." First she used the wand to use Giresta. Then her TCRM-mag, Pegi, flew in front of her. It performed Gifoie at the plant, with some better results. "Go and attack it." she told Hyuga, "I'll provide back up."
Hyuga nodded as he went to the plant and used his saber to hit the various parts of the plant. Ami followed close behind, providing support when needed. The plant was showing signs of weakness. "I think we almost got it." he said. Ami switched her weapons again to the twin daggers she had before. "Lets go all out then." The two went out to the plant and hit it with everything they had. The plant let out a screech before falling limp. "That was no ordinary creature." Ami remarked. Then they felt a wind blowing from their backs. To their amazement, there was a cave where the creature slept. "That's probably why it was so quiet. I guess something must have woke it up." Hyuga said. Ami started to walk into the cave. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Checking it out. It might be an unregistered Relics." He nodded, then followed after her.

The walk was silent between Hyuga and Ami. Mainly trying to regain the stamina they lost during the fight with the plant. The cave looked like an ordinary cave. But as they got deeper and deeper, it had some machinary poking out from the ground. Eventually, they reached to a room of the cave. It was huge. In the middle was a tall column. All around it were symbols. It wasn't written in any language they had to learn while training together. "What do you think it is?" Ami asked. Hyuga had already began scanning it with his goggles. "Honestly, I don't know. Nothing is turning up on the database on the symbols. Maybe something from before Parum was ran by the Casts?" Ami went up to the column. It was lightly pulling her towards it. "Be careful Ami, we don't know what it does." She gave a slight nod. Her hand hovered over the column. It looked to be natural and not man-made. Her hand felt warm as the column glowed alongside her. It gave off a slight orange tint. There was a crashing sound behind them. The two whipped around to see the plant from eariler. Hyuga took out a handgun. "I thought we killed it." He fired a shot at it. The plant fell, but not before filling the room with a blue powder. Suddenly, their eyes felt heavy. "Sleeping...powder....?" Ami asked. Slowly, she sank to the ground, with Hyuga following suit.

TCRM= TechniC Ranged Machine (I think that's what it's called, I suck remembering the new weapons)
Been drawing a lot of PSU art as of late. Mainly of my characters though. So it's good. In case anyone didn't get the PSO refs:
Ashe Flowen: His last name is the same as General Flowen aka Ogla Flow.
The plant monster: It's either the Poison Lilly or the Death Lilly (I don't remember)

Now if some of it is wrong, then I apologize. It's been nearly three years since I touched PSO, so my memory is foggy.
