Hyuga was the first to wake up. Instead of rocks, he saw the sun. He looked around, the area unknown to him. "Ami?" he looked around to see that she was not in his immediate sight. He got up, feeling a bit sluggish. He took a momomate caspule before feeling himself again. He only walked for a minute before finding Ami. She was sleeping near a shallow pond. He stopped for a moment, watching her sleep. It reminded him of when they were at the observation deck together after he came back from the Hive. It was also that time Ami told him how she felt. It was still a bit surprising. Before then, he had never seen Ami that way ever. He had seen her as a fellow Guardian and a former classmate. Since the two of them were working under the same team before the Seed-virus incident, he was able to see most of what he couldn't see then. Suddenly, Ami had a painful expression on her face. She made slight grunts while turning. He went over to wake her up. He gently shook her. "Come on Ami." Her eyes snapped open. Subconsciously, she moved away from him. "It's only you." she said. It sounded like she was confirming it herself. "Had a nightmare?" he asked. "More like my memories. Ever since the therapy, I've been having them." She looked around. "Where are we?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know. When I came around too, we were here." She got up. "We can try and find a city or something." she suggested. Before she could walk off, Hyuga grabbed her hand.
"Not before you tell what's going on." She looked at him puzzled. "What?" "The nightmares." Ami was taken aback by the sudden seriousness of his tone of voice. "Can't you trust me?" he asked, a little less stern. Ami nodded. "That's why I didn't want to tell you. I trust you enough to not bother." "That doesn't make any sense you know. You trust me enough to not tell me." Ami shook her head. "Fine you win. The therapy is basically to allow it all to come back. We talked a bit. But most of it has come back while I sleep. I know I didn't kill anyone. And I remember you tried to help me. Back in Moatoob." She looked down. "I remember shooting at you once before I regained myself. For some reason, I saw it as punishment for your indecisivness." "What?" Ami shook her head. "Nothing. Anyway, it hurts to remember. I was in that caspule being exposed to the virus enough to turn into a Seed form at any second. I rather face it now than later." Ami walked a bit ahead. "Is that all?" He nodded. "Yeah." He stood up. "Lets get going then." Ami said.
The walk was silent. Mainly for the two were trying to figure out where they were. The area grew more lush in trees as they walked. "This place can't be Parum." Ami said, "it's too natural." "I agree. But it is impossible for us to be sent somewhere else, right?" Ami shrugged her shoulders. "They could have taken us somewhere while we were sleeping." She stopped. "But then again, why would someone take us? I don't think that the Seed that are left have enough intelligence to pull this off, the Illuminus and it's offshoots are gone as well." "Not to mention that we haven't heard of any grand groups against the Guardians." said Hyuga. The two stopped, for there was growling heard. They brought out their weapons. A group of Rappies surrounded the two. "Huh?" said Hyuga, "I thought it was rare to see these type of rappies." The Rappies were different than the Rappy Polecs often seen on Neudaiz. "Lets not worry about it now." Ami said. She rushed in and started to attack them.
The fight took longer than expected. Eventually the Rappy group fell. "They are stronger than usual too." Hyuga noted. He looked around a bit to see a building over the horizon. "We can try there for assistance." he said, while pointing. Ami knelt down and saw something on the ground. It looked to be a machine. It was small metallic gray machine. It had large yellow circle at it's front. "Might help us later." Ami placed the machinery in her nanotransformer. Hyuga noticed her stillness. "Come on Ami, we don't want to get seperated." Ami nodded as she got up and followed him.
They eventually got to the building. To their dismay, there was signs of wreckage and wear on the walls. "It looks abandoned." Hyuga noted, letting out a sigh. Ami touched the walls as well. "We should still go in. It might protect us in case there's something we can't handle." Hyuga weighed the options. "But still, it could be even more creatures inside than outside." Ami turned around and faced him. "Ah....okay." "A vexing situation." he muttered to himself. "It is." She started to fan herself. "I should change. I don't want these to get damaged. I had them custom made. A light blue light surrounded her entire body for a few moments. It formed a silhouette of her body before disappearing. When it did, she was wearing a short jean skirt with small pink frills on it. The belt was black with a pink and white outlined heart was it's buckle on the side. On her left leg was a garter in gray frilled in white. Her top was a black tank top and had dark red designs. Around her neck was her nanotrasformer made like a thick necklace. At the front of it showed the Guardians symbol in green. There was no bangs in her face to hide Ami's eyes and her hairstyle seemed to be in a tighter ponytail; for from her shoulders to the middle of her back was wrapped in material letting the rest fall freely. "Better." she said, smiling to herself. "Since we are trying to figure out what to do now, you wanna talk?" Ami looked down at her black boots with pink frills. "This is too many times we've had an awkward silence." Hyuga laughed to himself, thinking the same thing. "Okay. About what though?" He took a seat beside Ami. She shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno. It's been trying for all of us." Ami stretched her arms. "It's going to feel good going back to the colony. I missed it too much." "I think so as well. The hallways have been quiet." he said. "Ami blushed. "I'm not loud, just expressive." The two laughed for a bit. "So how do you feel about me?" he asked her next.
Ami rose up from her seat and fiddled with her fingers. "You're fidgeting. You know that's a nervous habit." The blush on Ami's face increased. "I know. But I can't help it. You suddenly asked that." She shook her head. "We're too busy with our careers and a bit on the young side to think about it." She then nodded. "Ha ha ha. Yes, too busy and young right now." He playfully frowned. "After all that you said that time, I didn't have to think heavily about it?" Before Ami could answer, there was a flock of birds that flew from the forest. Among the midst, there was a tower. "Another one?" he asked. Ami shook. "It all happened when I touched it. So maybe..." Ami began sprinting towards the tower. "Hey!" Hyuga shouted, "Don't run off on your own." He sighed while running his hand through his hair before running after her again.
The two, once again, walked through the forest to reach the tower. By then, it had gotten humid and the skies were becoming gray. It seems the closer that they got to the tower, the worse the weather got. It went from clouds, to drizzle, to rain in a matter of minutes. Despite the weather, they kept going to the tower. Along the way, they did face various creatures. But it got easier as they adjusted to the area. Finally, they were standing in front of the tower. "So hopefully, we touch it and we can go back?" Hyuga shrugged in repsonse. Ami was a little hesitant in touching it. "What if it doesn't work? What if we just get to somewhere else?" He placed his hand on top of Ami's making her blush. "We can only try right?" he asked while looking at her. Ami pouted a bit, "Can't get enough of saying that can't you?" she mumbled. With their hands intertwined, Ami and Hyuga touched the tower. At first, nothing happened. Then, it pulsated with a dull orange light. The light grew brighter and brighter until it consumed them.

"They are over here." shouted a male. Hyuga opened his eyes to see that they were in the cave that first got them into the situation they were in. He felt something heavy on him. He had heard some snickering. "Oh, so that's what you two were doing?" said Ethan teasingly. He looked down and noticed the heavy feeling was Ami. She was sleeping on his stomach. "It's not what you think Ethan. Where did you learn such thoughts anyway?" Emil appeared soon after and started blushing. Hyuga sighed as he woke up Ami. She opened her eyes. "Huh? What?" she mumbled while wiping her eyes. She looked to see what she was doing, then to Ethan and Emil. "It's not what it looks like!" she shouted, scooting back from the males. "I just told them the exact same thing." Hyuga added. Ami got up and dusted herself off. Emil gave a nervous cough. "Err........personal incidents aside. What happened to you two? You guys haven't reported in ten hours. We grew worried that something might have happened and we were granted permission to find you." "Ten hours?" Ami asked? Ethan nodded. "Yeah. It doesn't take that long to exterminate a creature, does it?" Ami ran out of the cave.
She saw that it was nighttime. "Now even Ashe is going to think that there's something funny going on." She sighed. Emil walked up to Ami. "While I understand that you have feelings for Hyuga." he started. Ami looked at him, face flustered. "I'm telling you nothing happened. We fought the creature, then it used a sleeping powder." "Honest?" "Honest." Ami answered. "I'm not like that, you know." Emil smiled. "I know. Just that you two were sleeping very comfortably together." Ami gave a shout. "Stop giving your sentences double meanings." she groaned. "Oh Ami." said Ethan. "What?! I swear you crack one more joke about what just happened and I swear you not I will beat the hell out of you." Ethan gave a retreat sign. "It's not that. Just wanted to know if you and Ashe won't mind going to the beach with all of us this weekend. Hyuga already said yes." Ami sighed. "Fine. I'll go. I think it would be good for Ashe to formally meet everyone as well. Now before I have the urge to kill, I'm going to my room. Good night and I'll see you all later." She walked off
Back at the colony, Ami laid on her bed. A small cast in gypsy attire looked at Ami. "You seem distant Ami." she said. "I'm fine Megami. Just a lot of weird stuff happened today." She closed her eyes. "It's all probably a dream." she thought. Ami looked through her items and her eyes widened. It was the machine she had picked up. But it looked to be rusted, different from when she picked it up. "Megami, haven't there been some talk about a dimensional rift?" Megami gave a slight nod. "Yes, it is said that they lead to a different world. Why?" Ami shook her head as she made her way to her desk. "No reason." She placed the machine on top of the desk. "No one needs to know about it." Ami went back over to the bed again, getting into her body suit. "Goodnight Ami." said Megami. "Goodnight." she said back. Then Ami fell into a deep sleep.
