Lust? Have you ever noticed those reunited couples at the station? Just how cute are they? I haven't decided whether I should envy or pity them. Jealousy should be appropriate, since I seem to be paralysed by the presence of any member of the opposite sex. Maybe I'm just not interested. Then again... Maybe I like to think I couldn't care less, because it gives the impression of having an option. Basically, I'd just like to have my share, like all the others. That's it: just to make love on strange places with men I can forget. To be able to say that I've had my wilder years and have learned a lot from those shallow, meaningless affairs, based only on lust. Ah, forget it! I am just babbling on. That's the gift I'm stuck with.

	Please don't be like that. Don't let yourself be used by men, especially if you don't know them. I'm not going to tell you that you'll find love someday, because that might not be true. On the other hand, I don't want to tell you to lose all hope. I don't know what I'm trying to say... just please don't do things like that. It makes me so sad when I see a sweet, kind person like you become a tool. Maybe you'll find love, maybe you won't. But you won't find it in random sex. That's not love; if anything, it's really the opposite. You should never give your virginity to someone unless you love them. If you do that, you'll ruin your chances of ever finding real love. Things may be hard right now, but if you look back in the past, you realize that things always turn around. Things will be going good for a while, then a new set of challenges faces you. You face them, and things turn out alright again. I'm not trying to sound like a parent, or like all those teachers and counselors that say things like that. I'm just trying to help, because it would hurt me so much to see another friend of mine become like that, become an object of sexual pleasure for people you don't even know, people who don't really even care about you. Love can be a real b***h, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a good side, too. It takes a while to find the good side, trust me. But it's there, and it's more beautiful than anything you could ever imagine. Please, just hang in there. ^_^ If you ever want to talk, I'm right here. -Mike
