The feather-born: also known as Atlantians, after the fist city founded on the third planet in a small system. Being fugitives from their own dimention, the people who knew themselves as human, fled to a dimention where the humans were wingless and knew little about the arcane arts and the flow of energy. The planet was ideal for a small colony and a few scouts were sent to find the most suitible location. Their mark would be left in human mythology and folklore, due to the feathered wings at all Atlantians had. While some became known as gods and goddesses, others were known as moon-folk, and bird-folk, and yet others were branded as angels. Despite appearences, Atlantians were human themselves and some fell in love with the humans of this primative planet, adding further to legend.
Meanwhile, Atlantis was built. The city flourished with the advanced technology and arcane influences, leading the feather-born to relax in their new home. But it wouldn't last.... Soon, the native humans coveted what the feather-born had, and the still changing planet attacked as well. Atlantis was destroyed in fire and flood, being cas to the ocean depths, and scattering every feather-born, to the stars and to the land.
The ones who stayed, bred into the native human population until they were known only in stories. The ones who left Earth, however, jumped across the universe until they reached the end. Literally.
