Fish tale
Listen 'round boys, I be tellin ye of a 'ol fish tale. The one that got away, ain't that always the way it goes~

I once caught me a mermaid, no lies. Most beautiful thing my old eyes ever set upon, so lively, so fresh. She was a witty young thing, managed to escape my traps every time, yet always came back.

I tell ye boys, this old man here's a softy, I am. I grew fond of that lil mermaid, I did. My heart reached out to her, and I sought to bring 'er home, or least closer to home, y'see.. but no, she'd have none of it.. she admitted boys, she admitted that her young heart had grown some affection for this ragged old man, but it wasn't for her, arr..

Seems the more this old man would reach out to her, the less she'd come visit his 'ol traps, 'n pretend to be caught.. the more he'd seek her, the harder it was to find her, aye, it was.. so this poor 'ol man finally had to give up hope of finding him that little mermaid. She sometimes appears now, to bat her eyes 'n gimme that giggle, sounds of the angels themselves, I swear it!

But no boys, now that I've had me a mermaid, I need me another.. the youngin', she be too free, her heart too guarded.. but I tell ye boys, if I can find me another, I may die a happy old b*****d, aye!
