Well, I told my manager I couldn't come in because dad was sick today (she wanted me to cover for someone who called in sick)
I said, "My dad's in the hospital and he's getting pretty bad, so I'm going to see him tommorow.. i'm sorry..." she said "no problem".
She called me back later though, around 9:30 and said, "Is there a certain amount of hours you want to work per week, or a certain shift you want to work, while your dad is in the hospital?" I said "hours, no no its fine, but I'll work graveyards from now on.." she said "okay," then started nagging about "blahblah do your job right blahblahblah" and started nagging, but I'm like "okay.."
