[This is just something lame I came up with while I was watching the Helena music video. It's an interview with Gerard Way and me. ]
Interviewer: So, what was the main meaning behind your song "Helena"?
Gerard: Well, basically, me and my younger brother Mikey wrote it for our grandmother that passed away some time ago. God rest her soul.
I: Oh, that's so sad. How did you get the idea for the video?
G: I remembered when we actually went to her funeral, and everyone was sad, and depressed, and all dressed in black and everything. I just thought of recreating that moment, only with something that would appeal to crouds. I mean, an old lady dancing around in a ballerina outfit? Umm...
I: [Laughs and looks at Evera] So, that's where you came in?
Evera: Yup. That's when it was my turn.
I: How has it been working with your boyfriend on the set?
E: Is that a serious question? It was awesome! There is no one person that I would rather work with. Well, except for Chris. [Gives Gerard a joking, taunting look] Maybe.
G: Oh, sure. Chris is better than me.
E: I'm just kidding! [Hits Gerard's shoulder gently]
I: What about the performing part?
E: It was so much fun. With UW or UR, I never get to dance that way. I mean, I'm more focused on, "Am I gonna get the words right?" "I have to move there, there, then there, at this point in the song on this note" and all of that. Then in our music videos, it's more of "I want to look like I'm the singer, not the girl that's trying to impress everyone by being able to dance".
I: And what did you [looks at Gerard] think about it?
G: Oh my gosh. Are you really going to ask that?
I: Is that good or bad?
G: I remember one moment spacifically where I was standing on the-the [makes up and down hand motions]
E: The thing you stood on in the church?
G: Yeah, that thing.
E: [In the backround] Whatever that's called...?
G: ...and hearing the track play behind me, trying to focus on the words, while in my head I'm going "That's not my girlfriend. No. That's not my girlfriend. She is not playing the dead girl, because she is never allowed to be that dead girl."
[Evera laughs]
I: Aww...that's sweet. Sounds like you two really care for eachother.
[Evera leans into Gerard] No, I hate him.
[Gerard curls an arm around her back] Yeah, I hate her just as much.
I: Well, we're out of time. So is there anything else you want to add?
G: Stay in school, don't be a fool! [Looks at the camera seriously]
E: Never forget to rock.
G: Love you grandma!
