back! ^^ seems like i've been gone forever, but its only been a few days......
famine was interesting. we had lots of fun things to do, and i was Abby of the G-something tribe and i contracted polio when i was three so the entire time my left arm was useless. haha. it was only the worst towards the end, and when we watched a movie (ended up being a tear-jerker even thought it was a rather unorganized movie) we noticed how much FOOD they were eating during the thing.... that's when you wonder: does every movie have this much food in it and we just don't notice it because we're not hungry? so that was kinda depressing... but we all went to Perkins at 4 in the morning (Valores served us!!) and officially broke our fast at 5 even though it was s'posed to end at 4... ^^
urhhh... ha. so anywho, it was interesting. after miraculously shoving everything into the alero (with ZERO free space... literally) we finally headed home and so here we are! =] *big sigh* was kinda ticked that the entire time Garth had to stay in his kennel at the J's... stare apparently Jackie's deathly afraid of dogs.... i'm cool with that and all (after all, i used to be, too...), but what bothers me is not knowing AHEAD OF TIME so i could arrange better lodgings for the dog.
now for other things to do... goal today is to write two of the three DC things (i need to muse over what to put for the newspaper)... i looked at last year's essay winner and her write-up for it was, quite honestly, CRAP. *yay illiterates who write me a letter and can't tell the freaking difference between "peak" and "pique"... xDD*
HAHAHA boob sticker-lifter things!! xD infomercials are amazing... but Mall of America's rules are... weird.
