I wish you could be me, and I could be you. I know the path you're going to have to walk, and I've made it so many times, that I'm calloused and numb. I wish you could be me, and sit and watch what I'm going to have to go through, because you'll be safe, and unharmed. You'll feel bad for me, and wish you could help, but I've done it so many times, I'll smile and say, "it'll be okay".

It's not going to be easy, and I know it. You know it, but you won't truly understand until you reach the end, and look back on what you've accomplished.

I love you. I'll be your pillar of strength. I only wish I could be you, just for now, just to make it through this. I don't want you to have scars like mine, I don't want you to know the pain I know. I love you, and I'm going to be your guide through this troubled time, I'm going to make it as easy for you as possible.. I love you.
