Well, it's morning time and I've had my coffee. No... no it's 12:42, but 12 is the equivalent to 8 in my world.
I'm jittery. It's not the coffee, it's the excitement. I'm about to just write until I'm content! Which means, if you aren't ready to know Alli, you bes' turn yo a** 'round and go find a nice journal about cute baby animals.
I'm Alli. Sometimes I like to speak in ebonics. Not seriously, I do it as a joke because I am the whitest of white. Learn this, because you'll see it in my writings.
Last night I had a dream. Two dreams, actually. In the first one, all men were created equal. In the second one, I was on top of a mountain with a bunch of goats, thinking I could really go for some Starbucks.
I had Starbucks for the first time in Texas last week. I missed those delicious caramel frappucinos... But it didn't taste the same. It was missing that essence of California. That essence might also be smog and dirt from the air, but it's all the same to me. MMM. Dirt air!
I miss driving to the coast. You can tell when you're getting close because the dirty air starts to get misty and salty. That's about the time I start thinking about getting clam chowder in a bread bowl as soon as possible. And visiting tide pools.
Speaking of tide pools... here's a fun fact: I've been stung by a sea anemone. What?! They don't have the ability to sting people! WRONG! Not only was Alli stung by a sea anemone, it was a BIG a** sea anemone that scientists were feeding to see how big they could get it to grow! During a class camping trip in 6th grade, we went to see these tide pools and I slipped while touching this thing. It stung the soft spots underneath my arm. Didn't tell anyone, though. I didn't wanna leave camp. >_<
Anyway... I'm anxious to go home. Being anxious makes me nervous, and when I'm nervous I bite my lip. Bad. I need things to keep me entertained so I don't end up tearing my lip apart. My kids keep me busy. But sometimes they keep me so busy that I just need a break. I don't get breaks out here in Texas. No family. One friend. Don't know her well enough to just leave my kids and go on a date with my husband.
OMG a date! I haven't been on a date with my man since... LAST YEAR! We drank at a bar and then went to see a movie... "Easy A" I think it was. Really funny. But I intend to do the same thing this July. We're gonna see the last Harry Potter movie. SO EXCITED. And a little sad that there will be no more Harry Potter. Speaking of Harry Potter, if you're a fan of HP and Japanese people, you will love this video. I guess this Japanese show searched for the biggest Harry Potter fan and surprised her with a meeting and interview by the one and only, Daniel Radcliffe. I laughed SO hard.
There ya go. That's probably it for today.
Peace out. cool
