Dravin Curse
After leaving Opassa Beach, Gavin and Drake travel north towards the mountains. They pass through the Black forest to avoid being caught by Viper's soldiers or seen from the water by Spike's crew. Passing through the forest shouldn't have taken more than a few hours, but after a day of travelling and getting no where they realize they're stuck. The moment they stop, they're attack by the evil witches who live in the forest. They are going to be killed for trespassing, but not before the witches have had their fun. Drake doesn't want to transform into his dragon form in front of Gavin but he wants to protect him, especially since he's still badly injured, so he's keeping it as a last resort option. They are back to back, waiting for whatever spells the witches are conjuring up, and it gives the witches an idea. They begin to cast a spell that binds together Drake and Gavin's souls. They become connected, physically and emotionally. Everything one feels the other also feels. Both pain and pleasure. If one dies the other dies. Drake feels a choking feeling in his chest as if the fire in his throat is trying to be put out and he can't help but start crying because the face of every person who has ever been hurt in any way by something he's done is starting to play in front of him, especially Gavin's family. Behind him Gavin is screaming and has doubled over, as he feels like he's burning from the inside out and like his chest is being torn apart from inside. Both end up on their knees, but Drake gets a grip, turning his overwhelming guilt into anger. He changes into his dragon form. As soon as the witches see it they become scared and beg forgiveness. He demands they be set free but then apologize again and say simply that the curse can not be undone, then they run for their lives. Unable to ignore the pounding in his head anymore he reverts back to his human form and he and Gavin struggle to a safe place, out of the forest. There they each deal with each other's pain until the worst has passed. Drake confesses to Gavin that he is a dragon.
