So she lets him return alone, probably would travel back to the city with Gavin, Elan, and Drake. Since from their the trip home would be manageable for her by herself. So it'd be a few days after he arrives at the manor that she would get there. 8:07 PM
Pocahontas: Right. So maybe... she finds him passed out from drinking? And she sort of nurses him back to health? Because I can see it being almost like the Gavin-Drake thing, where he wakes for a moment and sees her leaning over him. And whereas before he would have hallucinated that she was Nidia, now he sees her as Lia, and it's her name that he whispers before slipping back into unconsciousness... How would she react to that? 8:10 PM
Alan: She wouldn't really. I mean, she'd be happy, but outwardly she'd be the same. There's really no way for her to change her behavior towards him because even when he'd rather her jump off a cliff she's as doting and selfless towards him as a person can get. He is literally the ONLY thing she lives for. And it's not because she wants recognition or because she feels duty towards him. She legitimately wants it that way and would continue to be that way towards him for the rest of her life, even if he never said a kind word to her ever. When he says her name in that moment, she'll be happy, but more concerned with getting him well. She's too humble to think of her life as important or to think that he would ever need her. She just enjoys serving him, working for him, being near him. As long as she can do that she's happy already. The recognition wouldn't make a great impact on her I don't think, just because she wasn't looking for it or wanting it or missing it. She was already content with what she had. Pocahontas: Yeah. She seems kind of... weak to me... but yeah, it does. 8:17 PM
Alan: Well she is. Her total devotion to Viper is her weakness. But I think it also shows a certain amount of strength of character. A pure, unconditional love. 8:19 PM
Alan: So it's a good/bad thing lol 8:19 PM
Pocahontas: But when he IS well, and he remembers that, it'll be significant to him. It'll get him thinking, I think. You know, that kind of thinking where he looks back on his life with Nidia and then looks at his life now with Lia, and he realizes that she literally has ALWAYS been there. ALWAYS, even when he didn't want her to be and even when she had every reason to drop him on his a** like he deserved. Which will get him thinking about why she'd do that. Which will get him running all sorts of possibilities through his head and trying to fit one of them to her. And that all will get him thinking about the heck he even cares so much to think about it. And then, I think, he'll make the realization that whenever Lia has been there to pick him back up, it's been easier to do. It's been easier to go about his life with her at his side. The pain doesn't hurt as much with her at his side. And that will make him realize that she loves him and that he maybe, just maybe, might actually love her in return. 8:20 PM

Pocahontas: I think once he realizes it he'll jump up from wherever he is, as if he got an electric shock. And he'll rush for the door to go tell her. Then he'll stop and be all "Wait, what am I doing?? You don't just TELL a woman something like that!! It has to be... special... or whatever..." So he starts pacing the room thinking of what to do, how best to tell her. Then he gets ancy and nervous so he decides to just get it over with and goes for the door again. But then he stops dead and his stomach goes cold because he thinks, "What if I'm wrong?? What if that's not how she feels at all?? I'll look like a fool... And no woman makes ME look a fool!!! No, I won't say anything... That's best." So he'll go to sit back down. But then he'll stop again and think "But what if she DOES feel that way and I miss my chance???" So he'll stand there in contemplation for a moment, getting frustrated because no woman has EVER made him think this much, and then he'll just storm out of the room, go to wherever Lia is, burst in, march towards her, and go in this firm voice "Lia, we can't keep doing this anymore! Now, it's obvious how you feel about me, and I've decided that we're going to be married at the earliest conveniance!" and then he'll turn briefly to leave, but then snap back around and point at her and go "I love you!!... As you were." and THEN he'll leave. 8:27 PM
Pocahontas: That might not work for her character, but that's honestly what I see him doing xD 8:27 PM
Alan: As you were? -giggle fit- Lia will turn from whatever she's doing to listen to him, and then just kinda stand there in attentive silence as he speaks. When he tells her they're gonna be married she'd frown a little in confusion, but then he'd tell her he loves her and he'd walk out. And she'd just get this glowy, warm smile and that warm fluttery feeling in her stomach. Kinda like "Took you long enough" type thing. You know like, when someone you care about does something that is so...THEM there's just nothing to do but smile like "that's my boy" lol anyway, so that's how she'd react to that. But later on, like late evening, after most of the servants have already turned in for the night and all her work has been done, she'll go looking for him and want to talk about it. 8:32 PM
Pocahontas: And you know? I think he'll be all sweetly awkward about it. Like she'll come in and he'll be the EXACT opposite of what he was before, because now it's said and done and he can't unsay it and he'll just be like "Who is it-- ..... Lia..... ._. " 8:34 PM
Alan: lol She'd walk in and sit down calmly, like nothing has happened. You know, like it's just any other night and she's coming to tell him about her day. And very good-humored and sweetly she'd say "I received the most interesting proposal of marriage today. Though I expected nothing less from the man." 8:40 PM
Pocahontas: He'd clear his throat and go awkwardly "Perhaps... the man expected more of himself..." 8:41 PM
Alan: She'd nod "Whether or not that is so, the proposal itself suited him. Anything more or less, I think, would have seemed out of place." then she'd pause, and turn her body towards him a little, as if telling him this great story he didn't already know. "But it was odd. Though he gave the proposal, he left too quickly to receive an answer." 8:44 PM
Pocahontas: "Oh....-clears throat- Well... what might that answer, um..... be....?" 8:45 PM
Alan: She'd stand and start slowly walking the floor. "Oh well of course I would have accepted. A woman of my age only gets so many proposals before she's deemed unmarriageable, after all. And besides, he's a very wealthy man, and very handsome. And more importantly, -turns to look at him- he's a good man. More than he realizes himself. I would be a fool to do anything but accept the honor of marrying such a man. I only have one concern..." 8:53 PM
Pocahontas: He'd swallow very thickly and just go "And that is?" 8:54 PM
Alan: "That he will be happy to settle for a woman like me when he could have any woman of his choosing. The most beautiful, the most wealthy, the most talented. Any eligible woman of any age, and many uneligible women, I might add -small laugh- would be more than happy to accept a marriage proposal from this man. I am but a servant with no money and no family and no real talent or upbringing to speak of. I only wish for his happiness, and wonder if I am the best provider of such." 8:57 PM
Pocahontas: He'd blink at her, then slowly stand and take a step closer to her and just go "And if this man were to say that... you are too hard on yourself...?" 9:04 PM
Alan: She'd smile. "I would tell him that I am only being honest, Sir. It is true I am not among the most eligible women in Termina. Oh, I know my own strengths as well as I know my weaknesses. It is no secret there are women better suited than I for a match with a man of such caliber." 9:07 PM
Pocahontas: He'd go without skipping a beat "But a man of such caliber has the right and complete capacity to choose his own bride. And I... -takes her hand- choose -kisses it- you." .... -pause-.... "Lia, I can't be any more clear, here." Nov 8
Alan: She'd smile at him, though it'd be...like...this really unexpected sad smile. Her voice would be really quiet and you can hear the thick emotion in her voice. "Viper, can I(emphasis) make you happy? 9:12 PM
Alan: (She'd call him by his first name. Richard I think? But I don't remember. lol She wouldn't call him Viper. 9:12 PM
Pocahontas: Richard, yes lol. And he'd just sigh and go "Lia, I've never been happy unless I'm in your presence. It took me years to realize it, but I have now. Please... don't question that." 9:14 PM
Alan: She'd nod, and wouldn't be able to say anything really. She'd probably start crying and she'd be smiling and stuff. lol You know, just really unimaginably happy. 9:15 PM
