Mira/Ashton movies
the two of them go out to a drive-in movie. You know, where you pay one price per car and then get to watch two or three movies in a row. Well, they have just finished watching the first movie, an action packed guy movie. (bleh) lol Mira has suffered silently through the whole thing, hiding in Ashton's shoulder most of the time while the two sit on a blanket on the ground just outside his mini-van. (lol) When the movie is over Mira gets all excited for the next one, the one she's been waiting for, a hard-core feel-good romantic comedy! Total to the bone chick flick! lol So Ashton stands up and is like "Okay, it's getting late. Better get you home." and she yanks him down by the shirt and demands he suffer through this movie just like she suffered through his. So he settles in next to her again and they start watching the movie and it's a total dramatization of their life. Two best friends who refuse to acknowledge their feelings for each other but a drunk accidental kiss starts their downward spiral into love lol Mira makes the comment that she's glad none of the other girls are here because they'd never let her hear the end of it. "The end of what?" "Oh, you know, what everyone's been saying about how the two of us are going to end up together with a picket fence, a minivan, two and a half kids and a dog." "Oh yeah, that. They've just got us all wrong." "I know right? Not even Hollywood can get the idea of two platonic friends with awesome chemistry...you know...friendship chemistry...not the other kind..." "Yeah, right." They are silent through the rest of the movie, then in the end with the big dramatic kiss and all that in their minds they are driving home (which is about an hour and a half drive) and they start talking about it again. Maybe Ashton starts out like "I wonder what it would be like, though...you know, if we were going out." Mira shrugs. "Probably the same." "Yeah, you're right." "Only more complicated, because you know...couples stuff and love and all that always makes things more complicated. And then what if we broke up? You would feel awkward around Chance and I'd feel weird around your sisters and if we ever bumped into each other, which we would since we live in the same house, it would just be disaster, especially if one of us got out heart broken. So not only would the whole house feel it, but worse, we would lose a good friendship. It just doesn't see worth it don't you think? I mean....I don't want to risk it." "Yeah, I don't want to either." Like that song "I don't want to, if you don't want to" lol Kinda like they are saying they don't want to, trying to justify it, but they really DO want to <333
