unfortunately it seems, it's too little too late.

If he would've apologized ages ago, instead of slinging more s**t, then we'd be ok. Now? I've legitimately moved on, and I treat him the same as I treat travis, catbug, jason, and the others. If I have something relevant, or something that seems so up their alley it's stupid (specific life mmos for travis, writing things for catbug, various things for jason) then I'll let them know, but for the most part I'll leave them to their own devices.

He did apologize though, and I'm sure he means it now, after everything is said and done and our friendship is a fragment of a memory, condemned to warp and twist in our minds with age.

I said "thank you", which, as I've learned, is an appropriate way to acknowledge someone has apologized without accepting it.

I do not accept his apology, because I read through the entire log. He clearly read what was said, and clearly "did not care". I believe he feels sorry now, but that doesn't matter. The time for tears and apologies has long passed.

I also suspect he's been reading these journals, which would be a bit creepy, honestly. He didn't seem to bring up the apology until I mentioned "everything could've been fine if he just apologized", which prompted a message from him not but a few hours later.. strange coincidence. Regardless, that entry was reminiscing on what could have been, not what is.
