Kayla's Journal
This is an account of Kayla's experiences at The Barton Academy of Gaiamancy.
Urg! I have to write a paper for Physics class. Basically I have to summarize what the professor talked about, and explain why a cause and effect can not happen simultaniously as seen by any inertial observer. It’s a mouth-full, I know.

In other news, we got to watch Mr. Arnet do some pretty amazing gaiamancy this morning. He produced a tree right there on the commons out of nothing, well, almost nothing. He said the rich soil and presence of healthy plant stuff were some key ingriedients. I can’t wait to try that one. Of course, I’d probably have to start with a sappling.

I have to go to the Student Store and get a phasing sigil. That’s a tool used by gaiamancers to help bring energies into phase with their surroundings. I used to have one made of plastic. It was a toy really, but it worked, sort of. I could use it to sneak up on my sister and give her a little static shock. I know it’s a mean thing to do, but I was less mature then… I think. The phase sigils at the store are mostly made of a wooden rod with prongs on one end. It looks something like a fork with a meatball stuck on the end of it. The ball is usually a crystal or stone of some kind.

OK. I’d better get back to my awful physics paper. I’ve wasted enough time as it is. Time…yes, let’s see…does lightspeed make time faster or slower? I’ll have to look that up again. sweatdrop
